In my dynasty last year he hit .312/31/78 with the M's. He always does good in my dynasty.

let me know what you guys think of an offseason trade involving the Red Sox and the Seattle Mariners

SEA gets Saltalamacchia, Jonny Gomes, & Rich Hill

BOS gets Justin Smoak

With Napoli signed, there's no clear need for Smoak to play 1B. Sure he could catch with Ross but I think Lavarnway would be the platoon partner with Ross rather than Napoli if Salty was dealt.

Either way, Gomes is newly signed for two years so I doubt he'll be moving any time soon. If you're looking to move an OF'er, Nava or Kalish are more logical options

I assume he does have it that way since his initial offer had Gomes going to Seattle

yeah I have the most up to date roster, at least for the Sox I do, so for the guy earlier who mentioned Pimentel I don't have him because he was traded to the Pirates, so any ideas on and what an updated trade should be if i take out Salty and Gomes, who should I replace them with

Sox have plenty of pen depth and Andrew Miller has a pretty good arm (at least in my franchise and some of irl last year)...so how about a Smoak for Miller type of a deal? Smoak gives you some depth and Miller gives the M's a pretty good lefty out of the pen to compliment Perez.

Nah, Seattle's pen is really underrated. Perez, Pryor, Wilmhenson (sp?), and to top it off, Carter Capps is freaking awesome.

Okay cool, might consider doing this myself just to have some depth because my current 1B Laporta is starting to really cool down. I might add in Miller though just because i don't think Vitek is all that great this deep in my franchise...still has his same overall, just not getting better.
