I feel like that's completely true. It wouldn't be too hard to implement I think... I mean, if I may, NBA 2k has a feature for a no trade clause. This no trade clause can be seemingly random at times, but it does a pretty good job of keeping those players on their teams.

Another thing I'd like to see, although I'm nitpicking, is the ability to do both PTBNL and money trades.

Maybe it's just that I like getting as close to reality as possible, but those would be the 3 things I'd love to see implemented next year.

As for the logic for this year... they could have made it a lot better if they just had certain trade flags. Like you know how two players of even skill on the same position can have varying trade levels based on potential? Why not go deeper and add another layer called HOF level? The higher the HOF level, the harder to trade for that player.

im definitely liking the PTBNL and money deals...using the AJ Burnett deal as an example, the more money a team eats, the better quality prospect(s) they receive back....And 3-team trades should be accomplished in one sitting instead of having to do 2 separate trades which i find a bit annoying

A deal I'm going to try and pull-off later tonight...

Washington gets: Michael Bourne, Any "filler" player (if req'd)
Atlanta gets: John Lannan, Ian Desmond, Any bullpen prospect (if req'd)

I wanted to do this trade because I need a CF, left-handed bat, and a leadoff hitter. Bourne meets all the requirements. Lannan gives ATL pitching depth and Desmond gives ATL a young, stop-gap until Pastornicky is ready to play at the major league level. And my bullpen is overloaded with young arms, so I don't mind unloading one of them. If the trade goes through, I plan on moving Espinosa to SS (his natural position) and calling up Lombardozzi to play 2B.

        Any thoughts?

ATL would have no use for Lannan as they're stacked with starting pitching....might wanna substitute an adequate position prospect instead

I would like seeing 3 team deals.

I hate to bring up the comparison again... but NBA2k11 (I haven't gotten 2k12, nor am I) allows for simple 3 team trades.

This proves it can be done.

            So get it done SCEA!

I could trade A. Laffey for Cargo... Colorado said it was in line with rebuilding or however they worded it... Didn't do it because it is ridiculous.

No way this happens, not even close. We don't need Lannan, no place for him. Dont need Desmond either, if Pastornicky isnt ready then Simmons will get the call. And most importantly why would ATL trade Bourn? We just traded for him just last year at the deadline, and last and certainly not least, we have NO ONE to play CF.

This creates a GIANT hole and we dont get anything back we could use.

EDIT: And not to mention the Braves wouldn't trade Bourn within the division.

Like i previously said, i agree with your Lannan point....hence why i said to substitute another decent prospect or two....Desmond is an upgrade over Jack Wilson...especially offensively...u gotta admit that much.....Would the Braves ever pull off that trade IRL? prolly not...but the OP prolly didn't notice the gaping hole in CF it would leave for the Braves...compared to other trade offers on here, this one isn't completely off-base if a few spare parts can be fixed (just looking it from the OP's POV)....With that said, i wouldn't do it if i were the Braves either

Lol yeah he is MUCH better than Wilson. Wilson probably wouldnt play over Pastor/Simmons anyways tho. If it isnt Pastor, Simmons will be the guy.

Looking to trade Jair Jurrjens or Tim Hudson for a big OF bat or a top 3B. Willing to include Randall Delgado as well. Looking to be semi realistic.

Carlos Gonzalez from the Rockies?.....although the Rockies wouldn't care for either Jurrjens or Hudson....u'd probably have to include Delgado and 2 top prospects

Anyone have an idea of a good defensive catcher who will hit anywhere in the .240-.260 range with a little pop? (around 10 HR's is fine) and a third basemen with pop and a decent average.

I'm looking to upgrade my Cubs franchise because Ian Stewart (.207 BA, 1 HR) and Soto (.197 BA 3 HR's) aren't producing and I'm in June.

I'm willing to part with Stewart, Soto, Soriano, SP Travis Wood, RP Rafael Dolis, Ryan Dempster, RP Casey Coleman, RP Jeff Samardzija, and Randy Wells.

For the most part few a established veterns and guys like Wood, Dolis, Coleman, and Samadzija are 27 and under with a B or C potential rating. If a guy is more of a high quality player or MLB-ready prospect I would be willing to part with younger A or B potential prospects for the right price.
