I deleted my last post as I just realized it was wrong.. anyway so I checked my steals stats thinking I was stealing a bit much when i noticed Bogey, Schafer, and Paredes have 11, 10, and 10 steals respectively...

I am number 1 in MLB for steals.. then I noticed #2 team is the yankees.

Brett Gardner has 29 .. half way through may haha

those are normal numbers halfway through May....cant really blame u either since u gotta utilize a whole lot of small-ball with this team...i put everybody besides the pitcher in motion whether it be straight-steals or hit & runs, etc...only way u gunna manufacture runs

Yea I realized that once I looked around at other people's numbers. Gardner's 29 is pretty funny though.. especially considering that just about a month further into the season in real life nobody even has 25.

                  Re: Da Astros

Holy crap I finally had a power surge! I ended up not changing my sliders when I brought it up earlier and have been sticking to small ball.

Jonathan Singleton came to this game in beast mode. 5/6 with 3HR and 2 singles, 4RBI. Finnnnally had some power going for me. Paredes even hit his 1st home run of the year, and Castellanos hit his first of his career (he has been a great call up). Hey the wind may have been blowing out but whatever haha. Poor White Sox weren't ready for this. They lose 13-1. Paul Clemens goes 9 innings and allowed the 1 run in the first (HR).

Well that was fun for a change haha. On that note I think it is time for bed seeing as I need to wake up in 3 hours.

So i read a little bit on that link that xboxxerx posted, and what I gathered from it, is I can't set my 40 man, 25 man and line ups and all that (have to do it for every team?) till after the season and Day 1 of the regular season, and I have to do it for all teams? Or am I just reading it wrong?

On the the 30 team control discussion...

I play my chise without it and everything has been fine. To prevent stupid trades I just save my franchise right after I finish playing a game, and then after saving I advance to the next day. If a bad trade has happened, all i do is exit the franchise without saving, that way i "veto" the trade. When I go back to advance the day again, that bad trade that happened before almost never happens again. This always works for me.

Alright after a few weeks off I'm back into the swing of things, and I got the team rolling. We've won 5 straight.

What'd we all ever say was fair value for Wandy I think I got a good deal working in my head right now.

How does it work with the waiver wire and players being DFA'd, outrighted and that stuff under 30 team control?

Depends on his performance during the season but I think we said 2-3 B's

Gives the Twins a Ace they desperately needs, gives the Stro's a top 100 high level pitching prospect comming off inujury, one of the best relievers in baseball with a cannon arm, and a legit 30+ hr power threat that can play 3b, SS, LF, and RF.

no...i believe u sim till the last day before spring training ends and send down 15 guys (or however much u need to make sure that your team has 25 guys but make sure that none of the send-downs are part of ur lineups or pitching staff) and set ur lineups and 40-man....that way the lineups will stick once u enter the regular season...but u dont have to do it for all the teams if u dont want to but be prepared for some crazy CPU lineups
