That's a valid point and makes sense.

But I wonder what his solution will be for the rookies the CPU will generate throughout the years with A potential?

You're going to have a bunch of rookies getting drafted with much higher ratings than current A rated youngsters now. And the same problem of large spikes in ratings will arise with those players as well.

Yea I am not saying this is completely wrong. I am going to sim and see what the results are because Singleton should be in the Majors next year... And based on sims I've seen with A potentials where his attributes are now wouldn't have him progressed enough to make the majors for probably 3 years. That being said I don't know if his potential was changed at all. I planned to sim the first season anyway so this way I'll be able to see whats up.
I've read through and I don't think waiting is really worth it. I need to get into my franchise before football season starts up (which is when I'll probably buy NCAA or Madden or both). It looks like they are just editing a list of guys CAPS which I don't care all that much about, and less than 20 players potentials. I'll just consider them booms/busts lol (although one was Cosart going up to an A.. I guess I'll just have to earn it).

As for Singleton I am disappointed with how low his ratings were dropped. I may manually edit him to where he was or maybe a mid way point. I just don't see the justification of his severe drop off when he appears to be so promising. Even with a high A potential (if that is what he got) after a few years he still will be below average I think. So I think I am going to sim through the first season and see how guys progress and then go from there.
if u can share stats of various prospects when you're done with the bolded part, i'd gladly appreciate it man

Maybe I can get a hot dog vendor if he is pitching well, but honestly I'll probably just hold him and release after a while. Lowrie is the only real stop gap until Correa is ready so I'll probably hold him.
lol IRL, Myers would bring u back something better then a bag of balls....Happ aint bring u back squat...pretty much Myers/Wandy maybe Lyon

Hey guys, I'm about to run a sim or 2 with the Twins... But i'll let you know information about the Astros, I'll have Singleton in the MLB in 2013 and I will tell you how he does.

i think i read that post along the way..and i do indeed understand the logic as to why he did what he did...since every minor-league game will be simmed, im just a bit worried that they'll absolute chit the bed with their stats....and that's unacceptable when you're pushing all your chips in the middle of the table when it comes to Springer, Correa, Singleton, etc. and yes i know there's a learning curve IRL from the minors to majors...im just a lil biased with my guys in wanting them to do amazing right off the bat lol

No I understand what you mean and I had the same initial reaction to it. But after reading Scott's post and thinking about it, I changed my tone a little. I just think its a bit unfair to jump ship like some have, and claim these are gonna be awful with prospect development. Without sims and lots of research, I'm gonna trust the guy who spent hundreds of hours on these lol
