But I mean, it just kind of depends on how things are going. If you're killing it with Marwin Gonzalez, then I'd hold on to him. If you can't do anything with Brian Bogusevic, trade him and upgrade RF.

Might want to get something for Carlos Lee, Wandy Rodriguez, Brandon Lyon, or Brett Myers if the opportunity presents itself. Depends on the date and standings.
the latter 4 u named are DEFINETLY going if i fall out of it...Chris Johnson along with the likes of Buck, Downs, Bixler are 99.9% goners too one way or another....however, i wanna keep the nucleus of my everyday lineup together as complete turnover is not the way to go in tryin to build something positive....Im on the fence regarding Happ, giving myself every reason to keep him

Sending Carlos Lee to an AL team to DH would be very realistic.

Baylor Bears - Texans - Astros - Rockets - Avalanche

That's what I was thinking as well since he is aging. And also I don't wanna have to face him in the national league. On the other hand dropping Wandy Rodriguez in either division shouldn't hurt much. I think he would be a solid 3 or 4 starter on a contending team.

yup....no point in keeping either Lee or Wandy especially if ur on a full-fledged rebuilding mission.....i was actually thinking of shipping Lee to the Brewers

Some reason I don't think Lee is a good fit with the Brewers. Yes they have young prospects but all fairness he would fit comfortably in a DH spot rather playing everyday for a new club. I could be totally wrong though. I think Rodriguez would fit good with the Brewers. Don't the Brewers have a nice core of catchers in they system?

Lee playing 1B is not that unrealistic...especially on a contending team like the Brewers.....i was thinkin of shipping Wandy to KC...and no the Brewers are top-heavy with pitching prospects not catchers...Lucroy is adequate and Kottaras is a life-long backup...not sure which team u was thinkin about

Yea Lee would be fine at first base. I don't know what I was thinking either, my apologies. I was looking at the Brewers rosters as we spoke you definitely are right. What's the reason you would ship Wandy in KC? Not saying it's a bad move but would like to hear your opinion on him being in KC.

You guys made me want to make a Astros chise, so i did. I will be simming 2012 and making trades to get the team younger and make it a long rebuild process. In 2013 i will play one game a series and see how this team does.

Looking at the Brewers lineup I think you nailed it if you ship him to the Brewers. That lineup look promising but man I would hate to face him or the Brewers. That would knock Gamel out of the lineup I am assuming.

Nice, I eager to start my franchise but myself. Glad we convince someone else to take on the challenge. It should be a lot of fun and a little frustrating. Haha!

their starting rotation is atrocious but their hitting is not bad so im praying that they're in the hunt by the deadline

I agree that's the only downside I saw about the Brewers pitching. But hey anything can happen.
