Re: Da Astros
Oh well, if that was the case...I would have had to chuckle a little. But, the Bravos look to be the underdog in that game, as they send inexperienced Terry Doyle (granted he has a low 2 ERA this season...)to the hill to face the one and only Madison "I'm Untouchable, Stop Trying to Trade for Me" BumgarnerCheck out my Houston Astros Dynasties:

Re: Da Astros
I honestly have no clue about him...it looks like the White Sox waived him, ATL picked him up and moved him to the Bigs. Which boded well for them as he's been lights out since being picked up with 108.1 innings, a 10-1 record, and a 2.23 ERA. Oh and 110Ks, to 20 BBs.
Typical Kenny Williams move, get rid of good talent and stick with bums.Check out my Houston Astros Dynasties:

Re: Da Astros
96 Losses? That is good! I can't recall exactly but when I simmed the first season I think we won 51 games or something like that. Over 30 games out of it, and I didn't check but I think it is safe to say we secured the 2013 #1 pick.Oh I know. Wanna know something really sad? My Astros are a 96 loss team with one game left, but there are 4 teams with worse records than me. I don't even have the worst record in my division, as the Cubbies have decided to collapse and be a half game worse than me with my last game against them. If I win against them, I could be looking at the 6th pick, with 96 losses...
I'm debating whether or not to tank the game...I could always send Milk Carton to the mound on a rehab start, that should guarantee a loss no?Comment

Re: Da Astros
think that's where im gunna start off too...especially if there's nothing to look forward to as AAA prospects are concerned....if the Astros can take baby steps in year 2, it shudd be considered a successSteelers | Seminoles | A's | Rockets | Avalanche | Wildcats, Hoosiers | LiverpoolComment

Re: Da Astros
Yea the way I ran things in year one I didn't have anybody worth while in AAA (at least not that might make a jump to the MLB). Due to injuries I had to call up a couple SP'ers to fill in, and Correa got bumped to AAA when I did "auto set lineup" or something once.. Other than that AA was where my interest was at.Comment

Re: Da Astros
Singleton, Dominguez, and Villar would be the only position prospects that have a chance of makin it in the show in September 2012 while i can see 4-5 pitching prospects gettin a shot but yeah AA is where the majority of talent isYea the way I ran things in year one I didn't have anybody worth while in AAA (at least not that might make a jump to the MLB). Re: Da Astros
i meant to post this yesterday when the trade went down but i just remembered it now:
in a response to a comment posted by a random joe schmo on espn.com, Keith Law said he'd be open to trading ANYBODY (i assume he only meant guys on the major-league roster) INCLUDING Norris...not to put words in his mouth but for argument's sake, i'll add JD into that mix since he used the word *everybody*
this is gunna sound a bit crazy considering the product the Astros currently showcase but..... would u be open to trading Norris and/or JD if u guys are out if it come the deadline?Last edited by 37; 07-22-2012, 10:33 PM.Steelers | Seminoles | A's | Rockets | Avalanche | Wildcats, Hoosiers | LiverpoolComment

I'd have to be overwhelmed if I was approached with an offer. I personally wouldn't shop them though. Let the CPU come to you

Re: Da Astros
i cant afford to shop JD even if i wanted to since the Astros have nothing waiting to replace him in AAA.....if i didn't have a man-crush on Norris, i could definetly put him on the market since they have a few options in AAA waiting....just wanna see how wild and risky everybody is

I don't think I could move JD myself.
