I don't really have anything constructive to add, just that I'm one of those eagerly anticipating a patch (or even news OF a patch). I too bought a Vita primarily for The Show and have been very let down by recent events.

Hot Shots Golf has been a pleasant surprise, as has Rayman Orgins (I urge anyone who grew up playing Mario-type platformers to check it out, it's quite good) so the Vita hasn't been a total loss for me. It's definitely not being used as I initially intended though.

I've already thrown my money in this year on Vita and both copies of The Show, so there's not much I can do about that this year. How this issue is handled/addressed will certainly effect my purchasing decisions next year.

I think us Vita purchasers that did so primarily for The Show are some of the more "hardcore" Show fans (or maybe we just have more disposable income available...or are just bad with money) which makes this cross-platforming problem hit even harder. And yes, every time I see that commercial touting the feature I die just a little bit inside.

They should remove the ads bragging about cross-play until this is fixed. False advertising at the moment. Hopefully, a patch can come out within a couple weeks before I'm ready to start my franchise.

I have made plenty of posts regarding problems - how and when......I don't see any developers chiming in, and my intent is not to jump on whomever suggested that, simply saying many have done that......There still has literally been no word, so that is why it turns to frustration.

I'm not sure if the hang-up is trying to resolve the issue with existing franchises? That they are attempting to fix it and allow people to continue franchises (that would seem like a VERY big problem to try to fix)......At this point I'd rather there just be a patch, even if I lose my month of games. An admission they messed up, a sorry and I can at least start a new Franchise, play on both and know things are fine.

I think the above post is true regarding the "hardcore" fans here.....but I also feel bad for those not part of this site. Honestly how many copies of the Show do you think have been attempted to be returned the past couple weeks because people think there game is broken?
People who started Franchises, RTTS's out of the box, because they don't even know better to wait for OSFM's rosters and had all that data lost.......Each of those games is potentially tossed aside, traded in, and potentially a customer who will never buy the Show again.

Multithreat, That's very constructive and explains how most if us feel. I'm so dissapointed and frustrated with the whole thing.

However I also enjoy the Vita, as a whole, and love being able to take my trophy hunts on the road, the true reason I bought the little system.

I'm just frustrated.

But certain bugs are very difficult to remove, and what would happen when the devs promise a fix but cannot not deliver? There arises some accountability....

I don't own a Vita but I completely empathize with you guys, and I think you have every right to be upset, especially since we haven't heard not even a single word with regards to a patch, the fate of our files, and of the transfer feature for this year.

That's true, but I guess my point is they wouldn't do anything to potentially add fuel to the flame.

I just wanted to chime in with you guys about this also. I too bought a vita for cross save capability and am disappointed that starting a franchise will eventually freeze if i use the cross save feature via the cloud. I have a RTTS player in May of 2013 playing for the triple A affiliate for Baltimore and have been saving back and forth with the cloud. Knock on wood no freezes yet. I started this one on day one and have slowed a bit playing a 29 game season on vita with my Cleveland Indians. I started a franchise with the Cleveland Indians that I play only on the ps3.
Basically except for RTTS i'm using the vita like i used my psp. No cross saving to prevent corrupted files. I wouldnt be to devastated if i lose rtts if it started freezing cause i want to start a franchise to save and play back and forth. One that will not freeze up so all i can do is wait too for some news and info on a vita patch to fix this. I'm really loving the vita and the SHOW on it and glad I picked up Hot Shots Golf too!

I guess Im confused..I have both copies but only play on Vita..I have downloaded Knights roster and transferred via cloud. I only play franchise mode..will my game freeze on the Vita at some point?

No, it only freezes if you transfer back and forth.

Knock on wood..... But I have yet to see any of the issues you all are talking about. I have both systems and a game for each. I play franchise only .. And have downloaded the latest patch for the ps3. I've used the cloud save multiple times. Am I one of the lucky ones so far... Is there a certain place in the game when this happens?
