Is there ANY package that could make him a Tiger?

Re: OS Arbitration Panel Project 2012
I would say absolutely not, speaking as the Detroit representative. Any MLB talent you could give would not fit within the Reds payroll, and the Tigers system simply does not have the prospects to get it done.I'm just an old guy sports gamer...Comment

Re: OS Arbitration Panel Project 2012
So I stumbled upon this forum today and saw what a great site this is. Then I found this thread and thought what a good idea this is. So if there's an opening, I would like to be a Representative for the New York Mets.Comment

From a viewers perspective, this has been very exciting to watch, and has helped give me feedback on trades. I can't wait for this next year so I can get in on it from the start.Comment

Re: OS Arbitration Panel Project 2012
Not even if the Tigers would be willing to ship Castellanos, and they aren't. Chapman is a beast in the majors, though he probably still qualifies as the top pitching prospect in the majors because of how carefully they have brought him along.
Trust me, I'd love to bring Chapman in for the shutdown lefty I need for my Tigers chise, but it is just not feasible for anything they have on the roster that isn't making $20M+ a year...I'm just an old guy sports gamer...Comment

Re: OS Arbitration Panel Project 2012
Looks like this thread has gone dormant for now, or perhaps for the season as folks move on to other things. I'm still playing the Show, and checking in, ready to respond to any trades for the Cubbies (apparently Maholm and Reed Johnson are worth Arodys Vizcaino--I don't think I would have demanded a price that high! But I'm happy I can now go get him with a clear conscience in my franchise!). But not a lot of activity lately means our time is probably about done for the season. I imagine this or something like it will be attempted again next season, and I would assume the guys keeping track of volunteers will check in at some point (I think it was NoFatGirlz and/or acmilan), but if not, I'll make note of it, for what that's worth. If we get this up and running earlier next season, it might be even better. We shall see.Steelers | Seminoles | A's | Rockets | Avalanche | Wildcats, Hoosiers | LiverpoolComment

I'm still here as well just waiting for someone to wanna talk business with the LA Dodgers. Maybe business will pick up now that we have Hanley and victorino.

Re: OS Arbitration Panel Project 2012
I expect things to have a sort of "revival" -- people just aren't playing The Show as their only sports game right now with NCAA out, but people still play.
As you said, Scott's deadline rosters will also play a factor... now that things have pretty much finalized as to the "mods" people will have available, I think you will see a lot of franchising until the release of 13.
Are we AS popular as we were? No, but we're still usually on the first page of the forum, and that's something for a non-sticky post with like 150+ pages!
I'll always be around, just might not respond IMMEDIATELY to Tigers inquiries...but I will respond.I'm just an old guy sports gamer...Comment
