We certainly aren't going to give up either for a bag of peanuts. We just extended Gordon for 5 years and Butler is under contract for the next 3.

For Butler, we would be looking for a proven number 2 starter who can post 220 + innings and a starting pitching prospect that will be a number 3 at worst.

For Gordon, we would be looking for impact prospects or possibly an ace caliber pitcher.

If the deal is right, we may be inclined to add additional prospects from our system to a deal however don't expect them to come from our list of untouchables.

We are open to moving both but it would have to be a good price.

i think we may old off on alex gordon because we feel that the combo Murphy and Gentry is above sufficient for now, and we are reluctant to give up Martin Perez. (because Gordon did have a great year last year, but from what he has done in real life his ratings have been lowered)

however, one possibility i would throw out there is if we could package Neftali Feliz/Matt Harrison with prospects you would like (not Perez, Profar, or Olt) for Butler and Gordon, i would happily listen. If not, i would love to negotiate for just Butler. Prospects that could be packaged with Feliz/Harrison could be:

    Roman Mendez - RHP, 21
    Barret Loux - RHP, 23
    Neil Ramirez - RHP, 22
    Leonys Martin - CF, 23

P.S. i see Feliz as a solid 2 starter with some durability issues, but correct me if i'm wrong.

You've got my attention now. I am pretty interested. I do however need to read a few reports and figure out who we would be interested in prospects wise. I'm pretty familiar with Martin but I'm not sure where he would fit in and I'm not very sure about the arms. From what I understand, Ramirez's stock is down this year.

If its alright, I'll get back with you later.

I've heard that sound 3 times... once was Babe Ruth, the second was Josh Gibson, and the third was Bo Jackson- Buck O'Neil

Twins GM here still checking in everyday, started over with Scott's rosters like almost everyone.. Disapointed to have only made one deal. Twins have some nice pieces with Wilingham, Perkins, Burton, and Span.

If you've changed your mind on wanting two A's for Josh Johnson, we're interested.

              A.J. Jimenez (C)- B potential
              Matt Dean (3B)- C potential

While we're always willing to listen, we're very reluctant to deal Neil Walker. We don't have anyone in our organization capable of replacing him at 2B now or in the near future. Feel free to submit a proposal, but it will need to be something special to change our mind.

Hello everyone as you all know were having a horrible year and are going to have to restock if are going to be making the playoffs anytime soon. The brightside to this rough season is that we have players that can make or break another teams playoff hopes that other non-contending clubs don't have. With that said anyone is fair game, but here is who we are most activly shopping.

Glen Perkins: Lefty set-up man that can close. throws 95-97 with a nasty slider. Near maxed out k/9 ratings.

Jared Burton: Nearly maxed out k/9 ratings.. Very good set-up man.

Matt Capps: Consistent closer, but would florish in a set-up role for a contending team.

Josh Wilingham: Maxed out power vs lefties, capable of hitting .270 clubbing 35-40 HRs and driving in well over a 100.

Denard Span: Excellent leadoff man, Fast with great D. Walks more than he strikeouts almost always and hits in th .270-.290 range.

Justin Morneau: Some injury concerns and he can't hit lefties.. But his fielding is good and has extremely high ratings vs right handed pitching. Good platoon player that will hit .300 vs righties along with mashing multiple home runs.

(By the way this isn't for my franchise so I don't have season stats, this is with Scott's rosters and is just for giving guys who are contending in their Franchise's an idea of who would be a good fit for their club from the Twins.)

                          Thanks,

                          Twins GM.

                            FROM: MARLINS GM
                            SUBJECT: JOSH JOHNSON

as many of you all know josh johnson is on the market, before tonight i think that some were weary of trading for him, but this is a dominant pitcher who is a definate number 1. one of the 10 best, and his current performance tonight surely backs that up. (bryce harper did score on a bonafacio injury) but none the less. 8.2 IP 9 K's 0 BB and he had great velocity. so the price for johnson is 2 A's preferably one of them being a Catcher.

                            Thank you

However I really want to do a team in here and would be willing to take any team. I know all of the top 100 prospects (and many more), live and breathe baseball, and watch mlb network 24/7. so I an really interested in doing a team. thanks for reading this and I hope you all have a good day.

You can sign up for the Yankees. There can be 234345 members per team, for example.
