Just a reminder... this thread is intended for proposals and negotiations between designated GMs. The idea is to stay away from 3rd party comments and evaluation.Comment

From: Padres GM
RE: Headley
We would love to do this trade but well have to get back a 1B along with Hensley. I'm not suggesting Austin, but if he's on the table we'd love to add him to the organization. Get back to us and let us know if you'd like to that deal.
From: New York Yankees
Re: Chase Headly
We think that we should give you Kyle Roller, C pot. 1B, along with Hensley. We feel that we shouldn't give 2 Bs for an average rental. Let me know what you think. (On Scotts Rosters Austin is a RF)
Padres Receive:
SP Ty Hensley B pot.
1B Kyle Roller C pot.
Yankees Receive:
3B Chase HeadlyComment

Re: OS Arbitration Panel Project 2012
To: All GM's
From: Mets GM
Subject: Jason Bay
I knew at some point this season I would be writing this email, I did not expect it to come after 4 games. The Mets are not getting it done at 0-4 and I need to change it up. The heads are being hung low in this clubhouse and I will not let that occur. Jason Bay is simply killing this lineup. He does not play against RH pitching and when he comes up to pitch hit, nothing happens. He starts when we face a lefty and he still cant get it done. So on that note, I would like to move Jason Bay. As a organization we feel that Jason still has talent and maybe a change of scenery will help him get his career back on track, but for the future of the Mets to be successful we need to take steps in the right direction and he is not helping us get there. I hope to be hearing from some of you and I hope we can get a deal done.

Headley is not a rental and is actually controllable through 2014. This is why we must get two good B's back for him.

To: GM of the Milwaukee Brewers
From: GM of the Toronto Blue Jays
Subject: Yovani Gallardo
Hi there,
We are interested in your pitcher, Yovani Gallardo. You guys are WELL out of contention, so we'd figure he's available. I'm too tired a 1:42 AM to post stats, but here is our initial proposal;
Anthony Gose
Dwight Smith Jr
Henderson Alvarez
FOR
Yovani Gallardo
Any bad contracts you'd like to stick us with
An A and two mid-high B's is a value we feel is fair for Yovani."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

RE: Felix Hernandez
Hello to everyone in this thread, this is my first post as a OS member and I really was inspired to try this from watching this thread get bigger and bigger. But anyway, it's time to get down to business. As you can see, we've decided as a organization that Felix cannot be a future part of our organization. We have three big pitchers ready to shine within the next few years (using Scott's rosters so Paxton, Hultzen, and Walker) and we feel Felix will be too much for us to afford. We're looking for 3B and OF, and we will expect much, as Felix is obviously one of the best pitchers in the league. Thank you, and I hope to hear some nice offers within the coming days.Comment

RE: Felix Hernandez
Well surprisingly enough were in the thick of things in my Franchise. We desperatly need that ace to push us over the top. Well we really don't want to part with 2 big time prospects.. But they fit what you want perfectly.
To Seattle:
Miguel Sano: 3B High A potential 18 Years old.. Will be an all-star and will club 35+ Home runs a year consitently. Regarded as one of the top power hitting prospects in baseball.
Byron Buxton: OF/CF Max A potential 18 years old. Can do everything power blazing speed great fielding and will hit for contact. Could be a league MVP someday.
Nick Blackburn: SP B potential 30 years old. Always been a decent pitcher. Won't walk many and will produce a ton a grounders with his heavy sinker. Could be a great long reliever/back end starter. Could also be a placeholder for one of your 3 studs.
To Minnesota:
Felix Hernandez: Enough said.
Thanks,
Twins GM.Comment
