ill take the marlins if thats cool. im on the show basically every day. do you want us to start a non fantasy draft franchise file and progress through it or is this based on how we feel about players and real life stats?

      How about this deal?

Since Pastornicky and Jack Wilson are doing bad how about this?

      Shields
      Tim Beckham

      For

      Teheran
      Bethancourt
      Salcedo

I can also throw in Luke Scott who is having a good year, if neccasary because I have DH on for both leagues.

Sorry about everything that has been going on in this discussion as we just fill like we were never on the same page.

Being that you contacted us again we will try to continue this process.

With that said we need to address needs as we lost 2 guys in our starting rotation.

      Questions
Is James shields in his last year?
What is beckhams numbers, along with salcedo and I don't recall what you said bethancourt and delgados numbers where like?

If you can get me more information on the questions above, I can try my best to get back to you at a more appropriate time frame then yesterday.

      Thanks

        Beckham: .256 4 hr 93 h 30 RBI
Yes, Shields is in his last year, but you would have to resign all the players you're trading anyways, since they are n their last years. In my experience, it's about the same cost(to resign shields is equal to resigning the others, so you're not spending more in offseason!)
I put Delgados and Bethnourts numbers in last page.

        Best regards,

Salcedo is in Class A, so he doesn't have numbers. This show how little you value him, because your 3b on AA is batting .220! We just played them, and he looked terrible!

Since you guys are 56-47, and are only 3.5 games back in division, and only 2.5 games back in wild card, we would like to offer you James Shields.

            Shields 12-1 2.10 era 153 k

We are interested in Zach Wheeler, Matt Harvey, Josh Thole, and Ruben Tejada, among others.

Please get back to us soon!

                Subject: Zack Greinke

Morning all. I am emailing you all regarding our highly-touted pitcher, Zach Greinke. He is in the final year of his contract and since we aren't in a good position to resign him, we are looking to deal. We could use an back-end starter (to fill the void until the youngin's are ready) and the obvious array of prospects. Offer away. Will be looking forward to hearing from y'all.

We like Santana, but the 22 million dollar per year scares us as we could probably resign shields for less. Ike Davis is hitting .300 with 25 hr and 98 RBI on the MLB mets roster. I'd like him to be included. I old send Pena as he is having an MVP year. We have no problem sending Lobaton. Get back to us as soon as possible!

                            SUBJECT: Shields

Obviously with our situation at hand, we're hurting. Being that we lost Huddy and Beachy for the year.

More then likely we would not be looking to resign Shields as he's getting up here in age and feel like hes not far from starting to decline. (plus he retires at 34)

But something needs to be done here and in a desperation move we would like to acquire shields for the remander of the year.

With that said we don't necessarily view Teheran and Delgado as "untouchable" but would like to keep them. But being that we're in the situation that were in. We are in a bind and need pitching. We can cut ties with Teheran if absolutely needed.

Is there anyways we can send you someone else in the place of bethancourt. (not at office can't look at rosters)

                                RE: James Shields

We would like to offer you James Shields, as today is the trade deadline, and you need one more starter. Shields stats are on page 32 of this thread. You are currently sitting at 55-49, 5 games back in division. That is your only hope, as you are in second in wild card, but are still 14 games behind us. Rick Porcello has been very disappointing, as he is 5-11 with a 5.43 era 68 Ks and 40 BBs. Jacob Turners stats look like this: 7-8 3.52 era 91 Ks and 40 BBs at AAA. Nick Castellanos stats are as followed: .305 6hr 111h and 43 RBI as the no.3 hitter for your AA affiliate.

We would like to offer you this:
James Shields. he is currently winning CYY race
Carlos Pena (stats on page 32 also) he is currently winning MVP race

                                In return, we will receive:
                                Jacob Turner
                                Nick Castellanos
                                Rick Porcello
Aaron Westlake (class A, no stats, not valued much)
Bruce Rendon (AA, 3.04 era in 66 games. 6-1 opponents are hitting .250 against him, with righties hitting .302!)

Please get back to us later today!
