If the overall rating is kept (looks like it will be), I wonder if it will still be tied into positional values? For example, give Brendan Ryan his correct ratings over the last couple of years (grade A fielding and crappy hitting for those of you who didn't know lol) and he ends up a B overall, (more in the B+ range) move him to 2nd and he drops down to a C. I know we haven't heard anything about the changes to player progression, but the problem last year was that he was given a mid C potential, and despite being in the middle of his prime, would lose 4-5 points in every area of his game, including his otherworldly defense. Now I know this issue is related more to the faults of the progression system, but I would still like to know if position has any weight on overall...

- In future, is there a possibility that the game totally abolishes this weird thing called "potential"? Whenever I read franchise draft/trade discussions, they revolve almost entirely around this potential thing. In real life, there's no such strong predictor of future ability for any player, so to me things like potential so clearly indicated only serves to make the game unrealistic. It's almost like just playing card games.

A tone of good questions already being asked. I am just curious as to what has been revamped in franchise mode. Is it more "connected careers" style and hopefully less dated as it is now. (I know I for one am tired of that same old paper bit) Hopefully its a bit like MVP 05 franchise or madden 13 franchise menu ( I know I went there...sorry) But any info on what was revamped would be appreciated...this area was a game killer for me as it is every year because it gets boring and the there doesnt feel any "pull" to stay with it as it does in MVP 05 and madden 13

These aren't new concepts but just in case:

-Ability for roster makers to edit potentials (this is a must considering how much roster makers contribute to making this a successful seller)

-Trade finder and receive counter-offers

-Prospects ratings are nearly guaranteed and we'll see how '13 addresses this, but a volatility or risk rating could be good. So, a B potential player with low risk will most likely be a B but a C potential player with high risk could end up an A or even a F

-In game saves needs improvement. Losing all history of pitches thrown, confidence, etc makes it useless for me other than in case of emergency.

Temperature is not very consistent on most months. Not warm enough in the Summer months. Not cool enough in the spring & fall months. Also when I sampled games I saw overcast/rainy conditions in only 1 game. I counted at least 7 overcast days throughout the real-life season.

For fantasy draft, can we make it 'fixed' where the user can have the first 25 picks in a draft? This would be interesting for both Franchise and Leagues

- Is the newspaper back? I love it.

- On that same note, if you could create a player and see what he looks like in the newspaper, that would be awesome. For some reason, if you create a guy, their newspaper picture will always be either right or left handed depending on their race. For example, in my franchise in 12, I have Yoenis Cespedes (a CAP) and he always appears left handed because he is black, whereas Jose Altuve is right handed in his picture because his skin is lighter. Thanks.

I'll ask Ramone if I can answer some of these that I know the answers to already.

I know Ramone has already made it known...the newspaper is gone.(I will miss it personally).....but there have been some additions that will help to ease the pain of it being gone.

- Any personality traits given to players ala OOTP

- Any update on progression this year would be great.

- Any Milestones tracked from around the league. Will I know if A-Rod hits #700?

- Anything that stands out to you that makes you feel more immersed into your own franchise world.
