I don't have any issue, it is just an expression. You stopped in the middle of a back and forth conversation and picked out a sliver of info. Your thirst of knowledge for the game is pretty intense.

Yes I deleted that because it sounded kind of rude and that was not what I was trying to do.

I totally respect you nemesis04 you are one of the best OS members here and love that you help improve the game at CD

One of the few things I wish they would tune is the hit types that depend on what pitch you swung at and where it was over the plate. For example in 12 I just hit a smoked ball to the left field warning track right next to the foul pole - the problem is that the pitch was a fastball just off the outside of the plate (I am a righty hitter)

What I am saying is that I believe it is extremely rare that someone would be able to do that. IMO that ball should have been fouled off or something soft to the right/middle of the field.

Does anyone else see this or is it just me cause if it is i'll just shut up lol.

Yeah, I see this all the time. The "best hit timing" window moves depending on the pitch location in and around the strike zone... for example, to hit a pitch to center field, you have to swing much earlier when the pitch comes in high inside, much later when it comes in low outside (i.e., the timing windows goes earlier to later for high (inside) to low (outside) pitches).

I think the issue is that when you hit a pitch low outside, very off from the strike zone, the best timing window has shifted to the later side so much that you often hit it with early/very early timing, which results in pulling the pitch. This feels a bit funky of course, because more often than not you end up pulling outside pitches.

Oh, sorry... I've been busy running errands after moving to a new apartment... finding wall studs and all (when what I really need is sluts, haha...). And I made a habit of overlooking email/letters/messages unless the sender's name sounds like woman, as most everyone who reaches out to me is just trying to sell me something.... anyhow I'll reply later....

If anyone knows the answer to this that would great, but referring to the new "push, pull, extreme push or pull" hitter types, will this affect defensive shifts in anyway, or will they be manual still?

Just play the Red Sox and when David Ortiz comes up to bat there is an extreme shift for him since he's an extreme pull hitter.

Yes but there are only a couple player that it does it for automatically.

Great job freeze, you diserve a free copy for this!

how about summing up what you got to know abt the vita version and how your impressions are after playing it? any major improvements you recognized from last years edition? asking for this since this thread is mostly about the show 13 for PS3 and its kind of hard to keep track of the infos concerning the vita.

this, freeze. it got a bit lost among the discussion concerning the donations( which you imo totally diserve, its not like anybody is forced)

Probably because they were the only ones that had the "extreme pull" tag on them(hidden obviously)

You could always override any shift though and I think they have even been working on fine tuning the defensive strategy(user end) of the game.
