1) 10 team playoff format (that was put into affect LAST YEAR by MLB)

You can't change the color, you have two art style options which are located in the settings section for pitching when you pick pulse pitching as an option.

8 team was put into affect last year....10 team was put into affect this year.

I'm having issues signing players in the off season, It says I have 27 million in available budget, but when I try to sign some players for a 2.5, 4.0, and 5.0 cap hit it says I can no longer afford the contract that I offered

Has anybody else had this issue..? Or am I missing something?

You must have offers out(others) that total more than that amount.
The game looks at your total offers (and obligations for re-signing arb eligile etc) and tallies them together as well.
It's to "help" guys from going over budget.
They were going to add a "offers out" line in the budget screen.....I guess they didn't get to it.

I don't know if this would be the right place to ask but every game I play there are hardly any ground bills hit to second or short or even fly balls to the gap or center. There are too many foul balls etc. how do I adjust this? Any sliders help?

Has anyone else seen Ramone Russell in the game??
I played a spring training game against the Rays, and in the 9th inning, Ramone Russell came in to pinch hit. Haha it was great, looked EXACTLY like him too

What is the deal with my commentary? I haven't adjusted any settings yet and am playing in franchise mode. Here is the screen I see and for some reason the volume for each announcer is locked. I am in broadcast mode, I haven't adjusted anything yet but can't turn the commentary on because it is locked. I'm very confused...please help!

I understand how the player photos work this year and I think it's awesome.

I noticed today that a couple sites back in January said that one of the new features is that photos will come down in roster updates? Has this been confirmed or detailed at all?

I am wondering, for example, if Mark Reynolds and Michael Bourn will get Indians photos and not just cyber faces.

I don't, I have already offered all my contracts to minor leaguers and current starters and that total comes out to around 5 million in pending offers, I still have 20 million available budget and I can't sign any big names off free agency.
