Has anyone else seen Ramone Russell in the game??
I played a spring training game against the Rays, and in the 9th inning, Ramone Russell came in to pinch hit. Haha it was great, looked EXACTLY like him too

Were there changes made to the Default Base Running controls?

I seem to be having issues with L1 "Advance All" and R1 "Return All"

In ever game I have played so for R1 is not making all the base runners goback to the bag. Like for example with runners on first and second I hit a deep fly ball to the outfields so I hit R1 so both runners could goback to teh bag for the possible tag up. But when I hit R1 both base runners did not move and only went back to the bag after the CPU made them.

Another example I hit a fly ball to the outfield and I hit L1 to have the batter run from home to second and the batter just stopped at first. The ball was caught but he still should have ronded first and headed to second after I hit L1.

Now before a pitch is thrown L1 "Advance All" and R1 "Return All" to take a lead off the base does in fact work like it always has.

So did something change in 13 because I do not have this issue with 12 and early versions with Default Base Running controls.

What is the deal with my commentary? I haven't adjusted any settings yet and am playing in franchise mode. Here is the screen I see and for some reason the volume for each announcer is locked. I am in broadcast mode, I haven't adjusted anything yet but can't turn the commentary on because it is locked. I'm very confused...please help!

That screenshot is of the 3D volume. You can only use that if you have a 3DTV.

Scroll up and youll see the Standard volume.

There is a Foul Ball Frequency Slider

I know about the foul ball slider but there aren't many ground balls hit and the ball never goes out to center.

Well thats the slider to help with foul balls.

Other than that, your timing or zone placement.
It sounds like youre either swinging too late or too early

What is with the pitcher repertoires not being very accurate?

I use the Phillies and I noticed for example Kyle Kendrick has no Fast Ball.

Also Roy Halladay is missing his sinker which is one of his best pitches in real life.

In MLB The Show 12 both these pitchers have these pitches as they also do in real life.

Why would this change and can these be added in a future roster update?

Where does Sony get the info for the pitcher repertoires? Because they are not very accurate.

Can anyone help me on throwing over to a base. I looked at the manual and followed the instructions but I don't get any response. I pitch on All Star, Pure Analogue with broadcast camera. I hit L2 and the face button and nothing works. My L2 Button is fine, the controller is 3 weeks old and I've been playing Uncharted and Heavy Rain with no problems. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

What camera view are you using? It will depend on what button you press.

EDIT:You said the view, You would do L2 and square to throw over to first.

Yep, holding them together and doing it separately but getting no response. Is there something in the menu's I might have switched off? I mean L2 is working for everything else!

Yep! I think fangraphs is better, but even they can be off too.

Sometimes I think pitch types are subjective.
