On the settings screen (about halfway down) there is a "Use as Default" option.

Also, if you create/save a settings set, you can always move the R-stick on the team select screen to scroll through all your settings files. You will see the settings 'name' on the controller... that way, every player can have their own settings if they want.

I don't think this default applies to the Slider Set, just gameplay, presentation, etc. Or am I mistaken?

waI just got the game today from an Amazon Pre-order. Anyways I haven't played yet but I noticed when the soundtrack was playing the music temporarily cut out for a second or so. It seemed glitchy initially.

It asked me if I wanted the roster update I selected ok or yes it wanted me to hit start to initiate the download. Every time I hit Start it didnt do anything so I selected no for that roster update.

Anyways I thought it would prompt me for a roster update on the next time I loaded the game. Well it has not how do I request the roster update?

The music is not skipping after I turned the ps3 off and back on.

In short, it's an accuracy vs. effort mechanic. Short button presses yield more accurate results, but holding it will exert more effort (with less accuracy of course.) - pitcher ratings make up the remainder of the pitch outcome.

You can always switch your pitching difficulty to "Beginner" and it will walk you through it as you go.

I have been playing Play Now games in Beginner Mode but nothing about Classic pitching. I even went to Pitching Practice and nothing there either. Is that "walking through it" only in Franchise mode while pitching in a game?

No you're right, sorry I misread your original post as gameplay settings. To answer that, if you are playing exhibition, for example, you have to load every time. However, slider sets do attach to saves within the different modes. So if you were to start a franchise and set your sliders, and save, every time you load into that franchise file your sliders will be set.

LOL j/k, yes it should as long it agrees with online stipulations. For instance, custom cameras cannot be used online.

Oh wow, so if i edit the sliders to my liking, it will carry over if I host a game? Again, I'm referring to SLIDERS not User Settings (Type of pitching, hitting, difficulty etc.)

Anybody?

1. Do you have scouts for all 4 regions?
2. Do you only have them scout for their particular region! IE. West scout only scouts in the west?
3. Once the scout discovers a player you like, do you assign him to the scout from his area or the one who would be better at his skill set! IE. West scout who's SP strong assigned to the International SP
4. How long do you keep the scout assigned to the player? Until the evaluation is full?
5. When starting a franchise do you just buy the best scouts right from the beginning?

Quick question

If I use that Gamecast simulator thing, are there injuries? I'd prefer to use that instead of purely simming but if there's no injuries it certainly gives my team an advantage,

Francona wasn't part of the MLBPA when the deal was made. Same with the Jays manager and neither will be added via a patch/roster update.
