Here's something I've been wondering the past few games but never found myself in the position to find out. If a spring training game is tied after 10 innings, is it over?

How come when I play The Show it doesn't take up the whole screen on my tv? Maybe an inch on each side and on the bottom and top is all black. Do I need to adjust my PS3 settings?

You can go into the settings within the game and stretch it out towards the edges.

I'm confused what do you mean?

During the draft, you usually see teams trade a guy for a draft pick(pick is conditional on if the guy signs with the team or not), so then they get the negotiation rights until free agency day.


Something strange I found though. I was forced to get rid of abunch of MLB guys on my team cause I had no cap room for them(at least at the time of resignings, after arbitration and stuff,I had like 20M in cap space,cause everyone was wanting like 7-8M in salaries through arbitration,I offered like 2-3M and I won every arbitration) and those guys all stayed free agents even during spring training!


That's something I hate about free agency. My guys arbitration prices are ridiculous. Wanting like 2-3 times the amount they're worth, and they always lose(EX-I arbitration offer 2M, they want 6M,I offer a contract worth 4M, they refuse to sign,and then lose arbitration and get only 2M) All that does to me is forces me to be unable to sign free agents since all my money is spent on those arbitration offers.

I'm actually hating my drafting abilities, cause I'm drafting too many good players lol. So eventually I'm stuck not knowing what to do with all that talent.

Yeah not really trading for draft picks in MLB. If your guys are arbitration and renewable you shouldn't lose them, only any true free agents. When you offer them arbitration try to also offer them a 2-3 year deal that they will accept. Some will accept just like real life you are buying out their arbitration years.

Hopefully a patch will address that many A prospects being available to users in the draft. Also are you simming spring or skipping it. Simming causes the progression to double and the players to progress too fast driving salary up.

But if I didn't have a stacked team, I'd really suck lol. Cause Yankees and Red Sox are both 3 and 4th best in the entire league! So fact that 3 of top 5 teams in entire MLB are in same division is ridiculous.

Has anybody got any problems swinging over low pitches when holding down on the stick with button hitting?

I'm wondering if there's a bug of if my controller isn't working properly when batting.

Was the trade interest bar for franchise removed?
I am speaking of the bar that shows if the trade could be made or if there was no blue in the bar then the trade would most likely get rejected.
So did they remove it?

Ya, it's gone. It's basically they dont like it or they like it(and it'll be accepted).

For example...If Jays were offered something like Mariano Rivera for Josh Johnson, you'd get same message as you would if offer was Rivera for Encarnacion

On the trade screen, inbetween the box that shows which players you selected from each team, there'll be a message there. Don't remember exactly what it says, but if they like it, it says something like "That deal sounds good"

Is there a way to use the ball trail in Franchise Mode?

I know it makes it "unrealistic" but I have terrible eyesight and lose the ball during day games. Thanks for any help.

Is there any way to turn the commentary back to "normal" in RTTS? Like in 12? Because I hate how it is now, where they disappear for pretty much the whole game unless you do something.
