After signing my draft picks in season mode I check the roster page and they don't appear. I've checked every roster category and not one of them is listed. When can I expect them to appear (as one of the players is polished enough to warrant being on my 25 man roster).

First, you have to make sure you sign them. This is under "Sign Draft Picks." (Not near my PS3, so don't quote my quotes.)

After doing this, they will not appear on your roster until the following season.

Also is it possible to alter season mode game game time? I play as the Cubs and day time games take a while for my eyes to get adjusted to. I would prefer all night games.

Unfortunately not.

I'm hoping next year they'll allow us a little more flexibility; at least to be able to choose that game's weather.

I haven't purchased this game yet with the fear that it will grow stale after the initial honey moon phase. Can anyone speak to how this game is fresh compared to last year.

I understand a lot find nothing wrong with the game years past and would buy a roster update. Nothing against ya, just need a fresh feeling

Another thing that irritates me is the crowd moving around in the outfield. When I try to focus on aiming my pitches seeing the crowd move around almost looks like little white dots. Essentially certain parks have really bad fields of vision. I like pitching in Oakland though. A real basic background that isnt distracting at all.

By the way I drafted a guy in the second round with control, velocity, movement attributes something along the lines of 55, 20, 88. For some god awful reason you cant see what pitches are in the repertoire when drafting (or even after drafting is done). Is this the same in franchise mode?

I'm hoping this guy has a knuckleball. When I first saw the massive velocity/movement differential RA Dickey came to mind right away. But I won't dare edit the player pitch repertoire (as i consider that cheating).

So here's hoping I didnt waste that second round pick. On the bright side with my first round pick I selected a switch hitting catcher with well above average contact and power skills against righty pitching (as well as decent speed). Next year he'll probably be my starting catcher.

I reached level 30 on XP today. I noticed that the bar remains all the way right and doesn't start over like in previous levels. Is this a problem with the game or is the XP level capped at 30?

Good question. I'm not sure if there is a cap or not. At least there was no mention of it during CD or during any universal profile discussions. Maybe someone else has reached this level and can confirm or deny? (I'm only at level 25)

If i make equipment or stance changes, will they show in the "show live" mode? Is this mode basically a lineup card, or does it force you to use sony rosters?

Yep it stops at 30.

Interesting.

It seems that even a casual offline Franchise player would reach 30 eventually. I'm at a 28 now and it's only April.

I wonder if it was intended to work this way?

Playing with my RTTS against AA Mobile BayBears, the game announced them as "2 time defending Southern League Champions." I looked it up and saw they actually did win the last 2 years. Is this just a one time thing or if my team wins the Division (or World Championship), will I hear them being announced with that accomplishment the following year? I know they show players being given individual awards the following year.

Good question. I'm not sure if there is a cap or not. At least there was no mention of it during CD or during any universal profile discussions. Maybe someone else has reached this level and can confirm or deny? (I'm only at level 25)

At the bottom left of the screen, you should see it on *I think* every one of the menu screens.

Otherwise, hit select and you can manually view it there. It's next to the "?" mark.

2. How do you create/name a profile?

Adjust any profile setting, starting with Beginner/Experienced/Expert/Etc. Once you do that, the game will prompt you to change the Profile name.

Is there a way for you to check when players you traded for were drafted? I know you check when players you drafted yourself were drafted, but I'm more concerned about when traded players were drafted.

Yes, you can rename settings profiles. Just select those settings (L1/R1) and scroll down to create. It'll ask if you want to create a new settings profile from the selected, when you say yes, you'll be prompted to give it a name. (It defaults to Custom #)

You can also delete any previous settings file in the same menu.

Not sure if I'm doing this right but I just wanted to ask how I can use one user settings profile for Rtts and a different one for franchise. Without having to switch back and forth every time.
