It has to be the starter being taken out, and you have to have pitched to at least one batter. If it's at the beginning of the inning the game just acts like the starter was never on the mound and a reliever is coming in from the pen.

Do makers of MLB The Show get more freedom to do what they want in their baseball simulation because of their relationship with Sony or are they under strict control, like EA Sports games?

^^^What do you mean exactly? There are certain things like no fighting and no real player contracts that MLB will not allow in any video game.

Hey i have a question,, can you edit age in Show games or not, this was an issue for me in MLb2k games where they took this feature off, can you edit age in The Show games?

Based soley on balls that hit the pitcher on up the middle line drives I believe there are restrictions on them as well. But I have nothing to back that statement up.

just signed up today here !!.... quick question...i stared my 1st ever franchise on allstar difficulty....my pitching is ok,my hitting pretty bad....using A&S allstar sliders,they are great...if i up solid hits to 5 from 4,will i see way to many hits? anyone use solid hits at 5 or is that way to high ....thanx in advance !!

I'm starting a 12 team 29 game league but when I go into my league room it says my league is 132 games. I haven't started my draft yet, so you if that is correct or how do I check the number of games we pay? I wanted to start with 29 games to start and try it out.

hi all, I was hoping someone could tell me how or if i can do the following:

can I save my franchise file onto a usb stick and transfer/load it onto a new ps3 hard drive. thanks and any help is appreciated.

Yes.

Go to the SAVED DATA UTILITY section of the GAME section on the front end of the PS3(out of the game)

You will see the PS3 section and you just copy the franchise file to the USB drive.

Same in reverse for copying.

Couple questions for '13 franchise mode:
1. Can we sign our players to contract extensions during the season, and if so, where?
2. After the draft where do we go to put these guys on our minor league rosters?

1. No...no mid season extensions.
2. They do not appear in your organization until the following season.

Can anyone remember whether the Tokyo Dome was included in MLB 12 since the season opened in Japan?

The NSW government just announced the 2014 season would open with a series between the Dodgers and Diamondbacks in Sydney, Australia and it would be awesome to see the SCG in MLB 14.
