No biggie at all, but the patch still didn't fix the OLD Astros logo on the back of the mound in Houston. PLUS when Matt Dominguez steps up too the plate his stats graphic shows for not even a second. Looks like I have to sign Scott Rolen just to avoid this problem.

Are you using auto base running? I initially was doing that, just tapping L2 and got nowhere. I then read about holding L2 until it vibrates and that would sometimes work. I use auto base running set on default.

Runners on first and second, nobody out.

Fly ball hit deep to right center, deep enough for the runner at second to tag up.

Controller will not allow me to select the runner at second base, meaning I cannot get the runner icon blinking to show I have control of him, if I push up to get control of the runner at second, it actually chooses the runner who is headed to second. If I push towards first, it controls the runner, and if I push towards third, nothing happens.

How do I, in this instance, send the runner back to first, while getting control of the runner at second, in order to tag him up?

My only thought, as I write this, is to R1 immediately, thereby sending all the runners back to their bases, and then trying to control the runner at second, but it still wants to highlight the guy who occupies first base...

Thoughts?

So how come in my franchise I have the score ticker on the bottom but the "League Leaders" never shows? It's just the AL/NL scores.

In an obvious tag situation I immediately hit R1, target the runner who I want and input his base destination. I have no idea why when you target the guy on second, it is highlighting the runner at first. Never seen that before, I actually tagged from second to third in an online game last night and it worked as I described above.

This is what I do as well in that situation. Haven't had any issue so far with it this year.

I will give that a shot.... What I think is happening is that the runners, with assist on, the runner at first goes half way, and the runner at second heads back to second base, waiting for me to input the tag up destination. The trouble is that if I do not return the runner to first, via the R1 option, the game does not allow me to choose the runner standing at second. If you think about it, you have a runner headed to first, that would be the first base direction, you have a runner between first and second, and you have a runner standing on second waiting to tag.

I am wondering if the R1 press then releases the directional input to access the guy standing on second?

I will mess with it tonight..

Where are you in the season?
It could that it's just too early.

Around May 20th I think. Definitely far enough into the season.

Hi ,
Anyone notice if you empty your player bench you can no longer switch their positions in game ?
Im in Post Season mode but I never noticed that before as I PH Nix and then wanted to switch him to 3b and Youk to 1b also noticed a pickoff throw into the stands only gets you second base and not third ?

The correct ruling is only one base. The Show had it incorrect.

Okay ive asked this before and gotten answers. But i cant seem to do it. I want to give a player thats not injured an injury and place him on the DL. To mach things up with real life. I have injuries set to manual. Its on my default profile. But i cant do it still.

Go to the DL and use R1 which I believe gives you players on that team, then select player and give him an injury. Next, use DL to specify whether 15 or 60 days. I do this with 30-team control and Injuries set to Manual for both CPU and User. It's kind of hard to see during day games.
