I tried disconnecting and playing and it still was acting up so I just reconnected and it didn't seem to change things there either.

I haven't gotten into the game yet and haven't experienced any Pitch stuttering or whatever because it keeps freezing my PS3 preventing me from going anywhere

I just wanted to know if it was that bad for others or if it was just my PS3

It's happened a few times to me. No freezing, but the music stutters. I'm assuming it's a bug that can be patched.

I'm also seeing the pitching glitch, along with the music stuttering. I've been playing this game a long time, and this is the most I've seen the pitcher glitch.

The game seems to be just playable with disabled internet connection. There are still stutters during cutscenes. This has to be patched

Ya, and that site seems to be getting lagged up cause of everyone going on it.

On an number of bug reports on that site, seems like theres (as of now) 1 person disliking those reports for no reason. Stop trying to be selfish and thinking that disliking other bug reports will draw SCEAs attention to your own bug report(every report minus corrupted install has been disliked at least once)

Things like sounds of the show issue, stadium issue, and this stuttering issue have all been disliked.

This is more than likely just a coincidence but:

I'm seeing it less with the tutorial tips turned off. Way less. And in the exact same situation as the game where I had the Baseball Simulator 1.000-like "stopball" happen 11 times. Those tips pop up right in the middle of gameplay, so it's not impossible that it could be the issue, perhaps eating up too much RAM.

Take with a grain of salt, unless other people start noticing the same. The option is in the general section of gameplay options. Would be great to get some more eyes and opinions on this idea.

With the game now on PSN I'll be interested to see whether those that play a PSN version (ie no disc reading going on) still experience the stutter. My hypothesis is that they won't, and that this issue is exclusive to people playing physical copies of the game.

For me, it always coincides with a weird noise that the PS3 makes, so I have to think it is some sort of accelerating or processing issue in the PS3 itself, since, you know, discs don't make noises.

It just so happens that The Show pushes the PS3 literally further than just about any other game on the market.

Hi, I downloaded it from PSN and its stuttering like mad! Never had this issue with 12 or any other game. So far it's ruining the game for me, really gutted
Was mega excited for 13 as well...
