Has anyone been acknowledged on this issue? Ive been tweeting at mlbtheshow all day and not getting anywhere, I d/l the game and I want to know if this d/l related or my PS3 and I am getting no where.

Its the game in general. Look at all the threads. Discs or PSN download its all happening to varying degrees. I disabled the internet connection and it seemed to be gone but that was yesterday. We'll see when I fire it up today.

Okay just got done playing a couple quick games of RTTS and I still have yet to see any stutter in any of the games I have played, I have had the game since Thursday the 28th and still haven't seen what ever one else is seeing, sorry don't know what to say, lucky I guess.

I've experienced the Stuttering (sounds like a horror movie title) since MLB 11. I believe it's a perfect combination of factors that contribute to how much the game stutters, if at all. This is why different people have different experiences with the stuttering:

1.) Size of hard drive;
2.) Amount of available space on hard drive;
3.) Whether or not the game was installed;
4.) Whether or not the game is connected to internet;
5.) How many in-game options are turned on;
6.) Which model PS3 are you running on (for example, many 60gb bc PS3s with the original 60 gb hard drives could not "handle" the Show);
7.) Which camera angle is being used for batting.

the only time i experienced it was once i was hooked up to PSN, other than that i played about 5-6 full games against various teams and stadiums and there was nothing. So i've got a feeling it has to do with being connected to PSN.

I've played a few games already, but have not noticed any stuttering when pitching. However, I have had my digital copy freeze once on me already, and the transition between batters does lag a little bit.

Just a follow up to your question regarding how the digital download copy performs.

I don't know what it is, but I went from awful to smooth as silk in the matter of hours.

Game is playing like a dream now, and is was a nightmare earlier.

This issue has been going on for years though. I have to imagine at least someone in SCEA has heard about it or something.

not a thing.

it started when the servers came on this morning.

I played a couple RTTS games that were smooth but chalked that up to coincidence and luck, but now I got back home and have played for a couple hours straight with nothing at all.
