Does anyone know what overall they were when called up? They keep telling me my skills need to catch up before I get called up.

I was called up the first time at an overall of 73 I think but this was for the Majors.

Created CF and ended up in the GIANTS farm system which is rather funny since I'm a huge Dodger fan. Anyway, got called up to AAA in mid-May, went oh fer 7 to start but then went on a hitting streak and hitting .412 right now. Hoping I will get traded, but I wouldn't trade me ... I am way too good. I've used most of the 12,000 GameStop RTTS training points but still am the second rated CF in the Giants system. I actually don't mind playing in the minors. I like the new parks and want to experience all of them before being called up.

Whoever mentioned it, thanks for the tips about Vision and Discipline in being critical to drawing walks. That has always been a problem for me and want to learn how to be more patient, but need to see the pitches better to do that, so more training points in V & D for me. Love this mode.

Ok I'm in AAA right now with a 58 overall, but that should change once I ACTUALLY GET MY GAMESTOP BONUS 12,000 training points. There was a mistake but they should send me the code on Monday or Tuesday

Well of course as was the case in years past, I can't get called up because of a Full 40-Man Roster. Looks like I have to wait until after the trade deadline when players go on waivers

SS for marlins (actually went back to check this xD) and you cannot get a call up to MLB? Hmm.. Perhaps the Manager intends to trade you.. Cause I wasn't getting called up to MLB with the same reason, but three days after being traded to the giants I was called up..

Perhaps the 40-man roster deal is tell tale sign, coincidence maybe but only tested and proven if it happens enough times. xD

I'm still being traded within the first year or two in all of my RTTS games. I'm raking and being traded for scrubs like Tony Sipp!

Was hoping that would be different this year so i could use real top prospects.

Not this year, not sure if this was a design decision or the fact the game is pushing the PS3 to it's limits and they can only do so much right now.

Since they have it in franchise im not sure why take it from RTTS

You don't really NEED it in RTTS which is why it's not important to have it, though I will say it was nice to see who was interested in who as well as who was on the trading block. The reason to take it from RTTS would only resolve to reduce load on the ram which the PS3 has very little of and this game takes up a lot of it.

I created a power hitting slow as dirt right fielder and started the year on a sixteen game hitting streak. At the end of my first month I was hitting .421 7 hr 22 rbi and 8 doubles.

I get called up to AAA because of injuries and on a routine slide into second in my first game I tear my MCL and am out for the year.
