any one else's PCI getting smaller? I've moved up to the MLB and in AAA and my PCI was huge in the MLB it's half of that.

It varies in size based on the attributes of both the pitcher and batter.

I believe so, though I can't be sure as I started playing MLB 12 again a week before 13' released and by that time I was already in the majors maxed out in contact, power, vision and discipline.

Made a pitcher much more fun to me this yr then hitting

Drafted by the Pirates not bad i guess

Always good to have a different perspective every now and again. :P

I just turned down a 2 year 31.5 million dollar contract with the Cardinals. I am playing hard to get probably will go for one year unless I can get them to go higher for two. After those two more years I will be a FA and then I can get some big $$$ from someone

I believe the size of the PCI depends on the pitcher's H/9 vs your Vision. I'm not 100% sure if Contact has anything to do with it. It's been the same since '10, I believe? I know for sure '12 was like this. The only change this year is the swing timing window is a bit larger (per the devs) so it's a little easier to make solid contact.

How quickly are some of you guys getting called up to AAA? I'm a little over a month into my first season in AA with the Altoona Curve and am batting .388 with 8 homeruns and 36 RBI's (Overall 57, no preorder points used). I would like to stay in AA at least til the all star break, maybe even a full year. I've completed all my goals so far as well. (Using TNK - 2013 Realism Sliders)

MY CF/OF in the Yankees organization got called to AAA due to an injury in June (one of the OF had a broken arm for 2 months). By the time the injured player healed, I had played my way to AAA starter. Signed a $297K contract during the offseason to be a AAA Starter. Got invited to Spring Training and played my way to the MLB bench. Played my way to the starting position after the first set of goals were complete. They put me in CF, Ichiro is playing RF and they are rotating Gardner/Granderson in LF.

I got drafted by the dodgers as a RF and spent the whole season in AA. But during my first season the dodgers traded carl crawford to the tigers for a minor league SS.

Also i got traded along with aj ellis without asking for a trade to the Twins for Joe Mauer which I thought was great because when I look back on my Career Ill be remembered as the guy who was part of the Joe Mauer trade and ended up being a better player than him.

Now in Spring training of my second year and it says im going to be a AAA starter now. I can't wait to get to the majors my 83 Ovr is already the second best in the organization behind josh willingham for position players. Our roster sucks they even traded Morneau to te Padres.

Im a CF, got drafted by the nationals, asked to be traded because I was tearing up double A, so they traded me to the royals, ended up being in the futures game, then was called up to triple A storm chasers. Did fantastic in triple A so now I'm a bench player for the royals. I'm only 2-8 not doing so hot. Don't think my attributes are ready for the mlb but I'm having a blast so far.

Created a 3B and enter draft, was drafted by Baltimore. Teared it up in AA and AAA. Finished 1st season and was still in AAA and opened the 2nd season with a slump but picked up but got traded to cubs where i was tearing it again and i asked for contract request during the season, was traded to nationals. Finally got called up by them in July (2nd season). Currently with nationals bench with here and there starting. Went to playoff and lost in WS against Angels. I was in huge slump in WS....:-( 3-18 (worst than A-rod). Signed 2 year deal with Nationals for 1.5 Million. I was shocked that they give me that much. Change my secondary position to LF and has been starting OF almost every week with some alternate at 3B and plus Zimmerman also started playing SS.

Oh made to AA & AAA All star & USA future games. Oh i am a having ball apart from having slump.... :-(

I have a starting pitcher who's 99 overall in everything. I was wondering if someone could recommend me another pitch or two to add to his arsenal. I have about 9000 skill points right now, so I'd be able to probably add both and upgrade them fully. Right now he has a 4-seam fastball, a circle change, and a regular curveball. I was thinking maybe a slider and then maybe a splitter or running fastball.

I am not 99 yet..... i am currently at 73 i think. I started with Fastball, KnlCurve and Slider. Than i added Change up and will be adding 2FSB. I def suggest Slider, so fun to pitch slider in late inngs, i love throwing slider. I usually end up throwing slider almost similar to FSB or atleast 10 to 15 % less than FSB after 5th inng or so.

I had the 12,000 Road to the Show points pre-order bonus that made me a 99 overall from the get go. The slider is a definite go. Who knows? Maybe I'll go with only four pitches this year.

Don't know if this has been discussed but what's up with the player progression for older players? I play for the Rays and Fernando Rodney went from a 93 to a 77 in one off season after recording 41 saves! And A-Rod went from a 88 to a 68 and demoted to Triple A after hitting .320... There's no way someone like A-Rod would ever be demoted to the minors no matter how bad he gets... Hopefully a patch comes out to fix the issues

I know the feeling. In my 2014 season, Jeter got traded (like that's ever going to happen) and they moved A-Rod back to SS and have him batting 7th (like either is ever going to happen) and is rotating Eduardo Núñez and a rookie at third. Yukilis is actually still with the Yankees (hah!) and starts more games at 1st base than Tex (hah x 2). They made me the starting CF and is rotating Gardner and Grandy at LF or sometimes putting them in RF to give Ichiro a rest.

The only realistic thing is that Mo and Pettitte retired after the 2013 season. That, and me taking the starting CF for the pinstripes...
