Does anyone know if arm strength or arm accuracy helps a SP ?? Sounds silly I know but I don't see any impacts in game.
I play MLB exclusively with my cousin. Usually looking for info on Franchises. We played minor league baseball as 9-10 YOs on the Zephyrs.

It has no effect on pitching, it's to do with fielding.

I'm into the year 2021 in my pitching season and the stats are buggered again. Pitching ERA is through the roof leaguewise, Phillies have a 5.9 ERA and are 6th in the league.

Started as a shortstop with the Angels. Had 134 at-bats at AA, either batting leadoff or second, with a .381 average, 3 HRs and 27 RBIs. Leading the league in hits, runs scored, doubles and RBIs. Got called up to AAA due to an injury and became a bench player, and after a few games I was traded to the Brewers.

The Brewers kept me as a bench player in AAA and I think it's fair to say I struggled! In 185 at-bats I finished the season with a .254 average, 1 HR and 17 RBIs - plus an amazing .274 OBP. They offered me a one-year deal and I'm still a bench player. Started the season well but in my last two starts I went 0-for-4 so now I'm sitting at .238 with 1 HR and 4 RBIs after 21 at-bats. My guy is currently a 64.

Re: MLB 13 The Show: Road to the Show Thread

Is there any way to sim games in RTTS and get around same amount of training points if you were to play the game?

I simmed and I only get around 50-100 training points per game(I'm a pitcher, so I should be getting much more). I dont wanna play through every single game though since it takes like 20 mins per start(with 30 starts a season, it'll take forever to finish even a year)

Also, does RTTS ever count errors!? I'm a pitcher and I have balls bounce right off an infielders glove(on a line drive to their chest) and goes to the outfield, I had guys bobble the ball during a double play throw(so nobody gets out) among other things, and no errors ever get charged. So I end up having to pay for it since half my runs given up are off of stupid errors.

Having so many same problems that I had in MLB12. Including the whole "0 run support from your offense". 4 games in, I only won 1 time, and in 3 of those games, my offense got 0 runs during the 20 or so innings I've pitched.

And I'll end up getting a usual amount of training points? Cause simming the way I did gets you like 50 combined training points, but I get anywhere from 10-20 training points per batter I get out when actually playing.

well if you go into the game and then just exit it you'll get some decent amount of points

If you're just going to the calendar and simming you don't get squat

As a pitcher, start your games, but exit immediately, it'll sim the game and you'll get proper points for it.
