Yeah, I like Rosenthal (drafted him in a couple of Fantasy Draft already). But as much as I'll need help in the bullpen (though I'm sure he could progress well as a starter), this isn't where my focus is at right now...I'm still gonna need a 1B for the long run, and Story might be the best available asset I have to get that.

I get your point about SEA's MIF guys...I think you're right, Seattle might not be a good fit for Story. Houston probably isn't either because of Correa. KC seems pretty stacked as well, so I guess Hosmer isn't a possibility either. Any other 1B worth a look at ?

If you are looking for power in 1B, you could realistically get Matt Adams from STL and add a few pieces to grab Rosenthal in one sweep.

Not very much. Most people don't want him... obviously. If I were you I would trade him somewhere that can take on salary for a Low C prospect and be happy you don't have to pay him.

a) I'd like to get a young RH pitcher, with good velocity, to go along Pomeranz as 1-2 punch in the near future. But the ones I spotted are pretty much untouchables (ie. NYM Wheeler). Any names come to mind that could be available that fits that description ?

I'd be ready to trade any of my current SPs or minor league arms (aside from Pomeranz), and/or package some B-rated prospect we have in the minors such as (C) William Swanner, (C) Wilfredo Rodriguez, (1B) Matt McBride, (3B) D.J. Le Mahieu, (SS) Cristhian Adames, (OF) Corey Dickerson, (OF) Tim Wheeler, (OF) Rafael Ortega, (OF) Kyle Parker, (OF) Charlie Blackmon and/or (OF) Julian Yan.

Oh, and I'm looking for both "fair" and "realistic", at least from the other team's point of view (I don't care if the Rockies wouldn't trade Story, I'm the GM now...)

Haha, well I'm rolling with a Cubs franchise, so that was kind of for my own benefit. I like Matzek and Swanner a lot, trying to figure out a possible trade at some point. Edwin Jackson plus?

Figuring out where to ship him to is the problem now. You're right, his market is very small. I was thinking maybe LAA, since they had interest over the offseason, but the trade fell through. I was thinking, since the Angels offered Haren, maybe a low level B, or a high C would be sufficient.

After looking through other team's closers on the game, Marmol would be an upgrade for these teams: the Mets, Tigers, White Sox, Orioles, Dodgers. By upgrade, I mean his rating is better than the guys on those teams. Not that he's a real life upgrade, but he will be on the game.

I think I really have my mind set on Smoak. Switch hitter, with decent power and defense. Value doesn't seem too high according to the chart. Question is...would the Mariners trade him in real life ? And for what...

Because other than that, I don't really see a fit. Every team I take a look at doesn't seem to be needing Story for that bigger trade I was trying to pull off.

If we don't care about "realism" but only "fairness" in value...what would a package of Hultzen/Maurer + Capps + Smoak cost to the Rockies ? These three would really fill all my current needs in one trade.

Why exactly do you not want to trade Adams? Sending a First Baseman that can hit well back to the Rangers makes a lot of sense to me. If you're high on Adams you could always send Craig in the deal since he's blocking Adams for the Cardinals now and really doesn't have a place in the outfield aside from being part of a rotation.

You could also add someone like Martinez in place of Rosenthal or Wacha.
