Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Barnes should really be more of a high B, which Webster is as well, along with the A-POT Jackie Bradley, so this is fine.
Barnes or Owens instead is fine. Ranaudo's pretty bad."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

I know I'm just trying to please all, but I'd probably put Owens in instead of BarnesComment

So JBJ, Owens, Webster? It's okay if I'm getting a tad bit shortchanged since teams rarely get full value in Star for prospect trades.Comment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Rex Brothers? He's your good lefty arm in the bullpen right? I could support Wacha+ Martinez+ Kelly+ Adams + Wang+ Garcia for Tulo+ Brothers. Carpenter hasn't done terribly at second base so Wong isn't a must keep with us in my opinion.Comment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
So the final deal Wacha + Martinez + Kelly + Adams + Wong + Garcia to COL for Tulo + Brothers?
Or is there anyone who would fit better instead of Brothers?Comment

But yeah so everyone is cool with these two deals:
Tulo+Brothers to STL for Wacha + Martinez + Kelly + Adams + Wong + Garcia + Scrabble(LOL)
and
CarGo to Boston for Owens, Webster, JBJ
Sorry for dominating the last couple pages I just love this thread and don't want to rip off/get ripped offComment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Okay I am running with the Marniers. Loaded with talent in Pitching and Middle Infield, but don't really have any OF guy's ready to come to the bigs yet or with A potential.
I don't plan on dealing Mauer or any of the Big 3. Also don't really want to deal Sanchez,Pike or Gohara.
I like Iwakuma as my #2, so basically what SP I have to deal would be E. Ramierz and H. Noesi and of course Bevin and Saunders who are only 1 year signings anyways. Ramierz is consider a B currently 80 I believe on OSFM Full Minors V.2 and Noesi is a C rated like mid 70's.
As far as INF I really want to keep Franklin,Miller, and Romero, but would do Triunfel (who is rated a A in the game) as well as 3B/SS J. Decarlo who is rated a B.
Guti (can't stay healthy) and Ibanez and Bay are 1 year signings. I figure on keeping Saunders but not sure I want to count on him as a every day guy, maybe my #4 OF, so I basically need a starting CF and a corner guy.
Depending on how Morse,Morales,Smoak,Montero finish out the year will depend on who sticks around next year as the 1B/DH combo. and Morse could stay in the OF if needed.
Here are some of my thoughts.
Dodgers obviously need to open a hole. I was think Either, but actually feel like Crawford would be the better fit if I could turn him back in a base stealing top of the order guy.
Another name that came up was M. Holliday but didn't know if the Cards would really deal him.
As far as Center goes, I was thinking Twins. (A. Hicks) they have a 19yr Buxton who is a A but is pretty much untouchable, however they would deal Hicks. Colorado either Young Jr or D Fowler or Covin for a corner spot.
Another guy I really like is C Maybin from the Padres.
Those are just some of the guy's I was thinking
Any feedback on a combo of guys who you feel would be fair would be great. Also if you have any ideas of guy's who maybe I should target that would be available as well would be great.
For the Corner OF spot prefer a guy who has some power for the Center field prefer a guy with speed who could lead off.
If I was going to deal any of the big 3 I would say probably Paxton and if I went to the 2nd tier group probably Pike. If I was going to deal a IF besides Triunfel, I would probably say Romero. I really like the idea of Miller and Franklin as my SS/2B combo for the future and turning Akley into a Utility guy who can play pretty much anywhere on the field in a pinch.Comment
