Ichiro has just been cleared from the DL and I am looking to move him for pretty much anyone. His overall is now 81 and is 39 years old. Any ideas on what I should do? Should I trade him for a D potential player or just place him on the bench?
Well from the bench he could serve as a pinch hitter/pinch runner and provide good defense with a strong arm. Valuable asset but do you have room on the bench (and salary space) to have him there? If not, trade him. I'm thinking someone like the Giants would like him as an upgrade over Gregor Blanco. Opt for some mid level prospects in return (much like the M's received when he was dealt to the Yankees)

Prorated to a 200 IP season, Arrieta would've posted 2.8 wins above replacement, good for t-37th (Tommy Milone) in the entire league, and muuuuuuch better than anything Hochevar would've posted in 15 more innings.

      Hochevar, in 185.1 IP, 5.73/4.63/4.32 ERA/FIP/xFIP, with 2:36 K/BB ratio.

Hoch is plain terrible and Arrieta was great last year, this really isn't a debate lol.

However, Arrieta has absolutely 0 control as evidenced by his 8 walk game and subsequent optioning to AAA for that very reason. At least Hochevar can pitch well out of the bullpen.

To be completely honest, I'm not even sure why I'm defending Hochevar lol.

I've heard that sound 3 times... once was Babe Ruth, the second was Josh Gibson, and the third was Bo Jackson- Buck O'Neil

NYY (actually traded here IRL) for OF Thomas Neal or OF Chris Dickerson
I like the Phillies or Braves deal best...given how the Braves have Francisco/Johnson at 3B working out pretty well, that leaves you with the Phillies. Either Horst or De Fratus is fine, go for the arm you like best

I know the soxs wouldn't move those two but I'm just looking at fair and not realistic
Hmm well I guess you could break it down to Sale and Konerko for Harrison, Perez, Alfaro, Olt and Moreland. Somewhat fair but like you said, not realistic. I don't think the Rangers would part with Profar for a player like Sale. It'd have to be a bigger fish, Stanton/J.Upton etc

              Speedy with good fielding skills?
              All bat, nothing else?
              5-tool talent?

What are you willing to give up?

Speedy with good fielding skills for sure (potentially). Pierzynski must be involved in the deal. Moreland is available, and any pitchers other than Darvish and Feliz are available as well. Just looking for somebody to add to my farm system in the OF.

Pierzynski to the Nationals for Kurt Suzuki and Roger Bernadina?

Pierzynski to the Yankees for Betances/Banuelos and Melky Mesa?

Remains to be seen. Point is, Arrieta > Hoch, control or not.

Well yeah he's not really worth anything these days. Plus they've got Ramos there

Playing an older edition of MLB The Show and I was wondering what would be the value of a 24 year old lefty reliever. He is an A overall with A Stamina and A potential. He is currently on the Astros but has only appeared in 22 games with a week before the trade deadline. He hasn't been injured or anything they just don't use him. 3 B's maybe?

                            Thanks

3 B's or a older A and a B if the team is needing pitcher help.
