Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I'm pretty high on Pacheco...so I'm not sure I want to let him go.
As for Story, he's certainly one of Colorado's top prospects (he's bumped up to an A, from an A-, in my franchise) and I think he's worth a bit more. I don't need Davidson with Arenado in the bigs (although Davidson could be moved to 1st), and the Rockies are stacked at catcher. I like the idea of replacing Story with Owings (who is down to a B- by the way). What about this:
Story (A) + Rutledge (B) + Brignac (C+) for Parra (B) + Owings (B-) + Prado (B) + Corbin (Down to B-)?
Corbin is struggling mightily: 1-3, 6.65 ERA, 1.65 WHIP, .323 AVG Against.
Can't speak for the Rockies, but as a former Cubs farmhand and player, Colvin is terrible. And without Coors inflating his stats, he's nothing.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

He wouldn't cost you much...he's a low C or something and away from Coors that's mighty generous!Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

Well Gose is a C.................
But something more like Moises Sierra would work in all seriousness. Knowing you don't have the full farm system available etc..I would have to defer to AC as to what the Blue Jays could offer.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

Carreno has a .73 FIP lol I think that's fine."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Na I kinda created most prospects ..took a long time lol...I called Gose up kinda want him to be my CF ..Sierra is demolishing AAA so he may come up as well..Carreno is in AA now and not doing hot...he definitely works for meComment

A low C is too little for him. He can play every outfield position and is pretty good at it too.. not to mention being able to play 1st base and he has above average speed.
To the Cubs fan: Considering they gave up Ian Stewart to get him and DJ LeMahieu was a complete steal. Likekind of a steal...

hes 4.35 ERA 1-3 In AA ...Lincoln is 1.37 ERA 2-0 as a long man in AAA...may be a better optionComment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I think Colvin has a shot to be a solid player. He had a great season last year as a platoon guy, granted his splits weigh pretty heavily to Coors Field. The impressive thing to me is that he hit both righties and lefties pretty well. I could see the Rockies wanting to keep him around to see if he could be an option at 1B or RF when Todd Helton retires. I wouldn't go as low as a low-C... I'd say a C+ player for Colvin. (I'm not very familiar with who you could give up as the Jays)
