Do you guys seriously want me to make a list of the RULE which is great players starting their careers 19-22 years of age? I mean I see some are trying to find EXCEPTIONS. But there are far more great players that debuted younger. That's a fact.

B.) You don't know that.
C.) I've posted plenty of arguments that you've ignored. Are we done here? 'cause I can go all night."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Holy crap, no one's saying he's great, he's just more valuable than Papelbon, stop putting words in my/our mouths."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
That is a good question. Some of the debates here I actually do find useful though. Probably this one has spilled over into being a street fight
of baseball knowledge already, and I should probably get back on topic though.

. That's kinda that point with mods around, being able to say something without saying it. Plus, I try not to be a giant **** most of the time. Maybe this time excluded.
I wouldn't mind debating all night, but I'd actually rather get a couple of games in. Also both sides seem fairly entrenched right now, and it's more just starting to descend into insults...probably good to turn back from that course.

I don't see an issue here. We are discussing value of a player who is involved in a proposed trade. We can go on all night and day if you want. But our statement still run true. Same with some of yours.Red Sox: 2018 World Series Champions!!!

Well the original question was do you like Papelbon for Olt? And the poster's already withdrawn that, so this whole debate, while still enlightening, is at least irrelevant if not off topic.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Well I already posted stats for Olt, which was dismissed as an eye problem and SSS. I have not seen anything other that eye health articles come from the other side, so I'm not really thinking we have a huge discrepancy in providing facts, do we?Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

We're debating the trade value of a player, specifically, his devaluation by some. A player on the spreadsheet, no less, so this is right on topic, but if you'd like to get out of arguing by saying OT, sure lol."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

He never really gave much value, despite an amazing bat. And the reason I said I thought he sucked was because of his 1999 season. It was fascinating.
