I'm looking for a backup catcher. I'd like someone with a bit of power and is ok on defense. Taylor Teagarden is a decent example, what are some other guys that are like him?

You're not getting Ross unless you pony up

I'm in July in my Dodgers chise, is there any way for me to realistically acquire a impact catcher or second basemen without getting rid of Puig or Seager?

I think there was a previous deal done in this thread involving the Dodgers and Chase Utley.

Gordon + Reed for Chase Utley?

Nick Hundley would be available since Grandal is starting...

I know he is listed as unrealistic because of his contract, but the Cardinals offered Oscar Taveras, Shelby Miller, and David Freese for him. Christ.

I'm going through with it, but hard to imagine a trade involving David Wright where the team getting him is one that gets fleeced.

Got a little bored with my 30-team franchise for the moment so i decided to so a Astros one and attempt to fully rebuild them, mainly simming but am playing games 1, ASG, Trade Deadline Game, last game every season. I am at the 3rd game after the ASB and need some input on where to trade guys for the right packages and what not.

                              Jose Veras 27 SV, 1.69 ERA, 29.2 IP, .248 AVG, 11.81 K/9

Bud Norris 4.52 ERA, 102.2 IP, 108 K, .295 AVG (I just want to know if i can get anything)

Travis Blackley 2.74 ERA, 46 IP, .285 AVG

                              Wesley Wright 2.91 ERA, 34 IP, .221 AVG, 8.21 K/9

                              John Ely 2 SV, 58 K, 2.10 ERA, 68.2 IP, .205 AVG, 7.60 K/9

About it since none of my hitters are hitting .250 or above right now.
