Don't have enough time to properly analyze this but I'll just say that even hitting .340, an injury prone immobile 1B is NOT worth Alex Cobb, who's a certified beast.

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
In his game though, Cobb is pretty cruddy. So that, combined with his pedestrian stats from last year would make him expendable to the Rays in his game.
That being said, more would need to be added to the trade.badComment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Hey, got a cpu - cpu trade in my O's chise and was wondering if it would be fair. Its Cardinals-(Oscar Taveras, Shelby Miller, and Ty Wigginton ) for Nationals-( Dan Haren, Drew Storen, and Kurt Suzuki ) Its June 14th and the Cards are 37-30 2nd place, and the Nats are 40-26 2nd place. Thx again for any assistanceComment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
It was established earlier that Evan Gattis is off limits from the Braves, so my question is: does that mean that Brian McCann is expendable if Atlanta is out of the race?MLB 13 The Show Dynasty -- Mile High Magic Returns: A Colorado Rockies Dynasty Is BornComment

Yes, McCann is starting to be expendable with the emergence of Gattis and Christian Betancourt in the minorsComment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
McCann's expendable because the Braves aren't going to sign him this offseason, they're going to want something back for him if they're out of it.Comment

Yeah look for McCann to leave through free agency and sign with an AL team where he can play both C and DH a couple of times per week. They would however like to cash in on him to add depth to their farm if they're out of it so be ready to send the Braves a prospect or two in returnFormer modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Sitting 59-42 in my Orioles Dynasty (7.5 ahead on the division). It's exactly one week before the trade deadline and I want to acquire Yovanni Gallardo. The Brewers are now struggling (48-52, 7-13 in July with losing streaks of 5 and 6, 8.5 back on division and wildcard) and I believe that this would be an ideal time for them to sell.
I understand Gallardo carries a lot of value because of being controlled for another year but I have heard a lot of rumors regarding him and I believe I am a good fit.
Gallardo line: 5-6 3.59ERA, 109K 31BB in 97.2IP, his DIPS is 3.451.
The spreadsheet says two high B's.
This is the deal I was thinking:
Zach Britton (Solid AAA performance and MLB trade rumors said that the Brewers would likely want a player who is MLB ready/already has experience
Nick Delmonico: Upgraded to a high B with strong AA performance
Keyvius Sampson: Low B (Acquired in an earlier trade) doing strong in AA as well.
I would be willing to sub Eduardo Rodriguez (Upgraded to High B) for Britton but I felt that Britton might fit the Brewers need for an MLB ready guy who is still young.
I would also be willing to send Arrieta (doing solid in AAA) but only want to send one of Britton/Arrieta.
One last thing, I would be willing to add Eduardo Rodriguez to the deal in addition to Britton/Arrieta+Delmonico+Sampson but I feel like that might be a bit much.
Which deal, if any, do you guys think I should do?
Note: I can add stats for any of the minor leaguers but I feel like they make Arrieta and Britton look bad because they are getting unlucky. Additionally I would be willing to include other players (upon suggestion) but Bundy, Gausman, Machado, and maybe Schoop are untouchable.Comment
