Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Thank you! Unfortunately I am really high on Lombardozzi as I like how he fills out my bench. Is there anyone in my system that would get the deal done? I prefer Thornton at this point cause he's cheaper and I think the A's aren't quite ready to trade Doolittle especially after how good they were last season.Comment

Haha again I see him as a valuable bat off the bench. I know I'm being annoying I am just trying to round out my team and have one bullpen spot for a flamethrowing lefty open. If a major league ready piece is required thats fine but I figure that the ChiSox need position prospect depth.
I was hopping maybe a couple C's like Taylor, Hague, Marrero, Perez, Hood, or Kobernus.
Moore and Lombardozzi aren't untouchable but I feel like they are perfect bench pieces that I don't have replacements forComment

Low B: Krol (More of a mid B), Leon
High C: Hague, Pleffner (It's silly but I don't wanna trade him since I played with him IRL), Purke, Marrero, Kobernus.
Solis, Ray, and Turnbull are in the lower tier of High C'sComment

Yeah I often take a long time to pick a team. Plus I didn't do 30 team control with the Rockies and it kinda ruined the franchise. I have far too many franchises going right now but typically I'll find one fairly soon and roll with it for a long time.Comment

The Phillies are however in great need of a bat like Ethier for their OF/lineup. Guess the Mets would come calling as well if the Dodgers are selling. The Mariners could be an option...

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Still trying to formulate a trade as the 2014 deadline approaches. The Mets are totally out of it (shocker) and my Marlins are battling with the Braves for 1st in the division (currently 1.5 games ahead of them).
Marlins receive:
RP Daniel Bard (86 ovr)
2B Daniel Murphy (82 ovr)
OF Colin Cowgill (71 ovr)
Mets receive:
SP Nathan Eovaldi (80 ovr, B pot)
SP Justin Nicolino (72 ovr, B pot)
2B Noah Perio (71 ovr, B pot)
Basically I badly need a leadoff hitter and second baseman and Murphy fills both those holes. I also have Nick Franklin in AAA who should take over 2B next season so Murphy would probably just be a rental for the rest of 2014. I also need bullpen help and Bard has a 0.47 ERA which is a waste on a losing Mets team. Also need a fourth outfielder so Cowgill will assume that role.
Would I be screwing the Mets over here?Currently Playing
