I'm the A's, is it realistic and fair to get Simmons the SS from the Braves, with a package around Jarod Parker?

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
In the first week of my Yankees chise and my bullpen has been struggling other than Rivera and Robertson. Was thinking about trading for a youngish reliever, but I really don't have a clue on who to trade for. Any ideas?Comment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Approaching the 2014 trade deadline in my Marlins franchise and I am in desperate need of a SS and leadoff hitter.
So, I was thinking about trying to get Dee Gordon from the Red Sox. Yes, the Red Sox. They are pretty much out of contention and Gordon is highly overrated in this game. Plus I love bunting for hits with guys and he has a good bunt/drag bunt rating.
Anywho, I did the Stanton trade with Seattle where I got Taijuan Walker and James Paxton back so I have a TON of great pitching depth. My MLB rotation is pretty solid and I have Nathan Eovaldi, Paxton, and several other A/B SP prospects pitching in the minors.
What do you guys think would be a fair deal to make with the Red Sox? I also would probably throw in the SS Hechavarria who is in AAA right now if I got Gordon from them.Currently Playing

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
But if you do want to make a trade you could go for someone like Antonio Bastardo, he's relatively young and is a pretty decent lefty arm out of the pen, Brad Brach wouldn't be bad either| Brewers | Packers | Angels | Bucks | Badgers |Comment

Strikes out waaaaaaaaaaay too much, but Iglesias would work
I like Hech a great deal more than I do Gordon, honestly. You're the Marlins, right? LeBlanc for Gordon is fine."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Actually, before I sign off on it, how's the Red Sox rotation looking? and is there anything you'd like back with Gordon?"Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Buchholz
Doubront
Beckett (lol)
R. De La Rosa
Just glancing at their numbers the rotation is looking pretty crappy. They have Franklin Morales and Lackey in long relief.
And with Gordon I'm more interested in his drag bunt rating. I'm not the best hitter but I love bunting for hits so I thought about him at the top of my lineup for that reason. Plus he hits RH pitching pretty well in the game.
Edit: The Sox actually still have Iglesias and another young B SS prospect (just turned off my PS3, forgot the name) so I don't know if they would want Hech as well.Last edited by MrChainsaw; 05-15-2013, 09:51 PM.Currently Playing

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
In my Orioles franchise I'm looking for a good guy to DH against Lefties. I don't really want an everyday player I'm just looking for a bench guy to use as a DH against LHP. I'd like a guy w/ a little pop but at least could give me a decent average.| Brewers | Packers | Angels | Bucks | Badgers |Comment
