Well I wouldn't look at it as being ripped off Garza was struggling he technically should be 0-5 but I had a few comebacks and I just couldn't pitch with him. Didn't feel like I'm losing much and I'll have Romero underr contract for 3 years. But who knows maybe a change of scenery will work for all involved.

Narrowed it down to 3 relief pitchers in my Yankees franchise. The three are Jared Burton from the Twins, Tyler Clippard from the Nats, and Antonio Bastardo from the Phillies. Both the Twins and Phillies are out of the race, and the Nats are in first. Im leaning towards trading for Clippard because the Nats will still have Soriano and Storen in the pen.

What would it take to get Clippard? Maybe a package around Hughes as the Nats need a 5th starter and Pineda is coming off the dl for me soon. Any help?

That's a pretty solid trade in my opinion... but only considering how Garza and Romero are pitching. In real life you would be getting ripped off, but it's pretty solid for your chise.

Guess it depends on what you're looking for. Hank Conger and JA Happ is a match according to the spreadsheet (both two high C's).

Romero is like you know a mid B and a mid C on the spreadsheet. At this point IRL, I think it's hard to get anything else than just one player back at around a low B status. If Romero is putting up his good numbers of the past and the Angels are contending and looking for a rotation upgrade, I could see them offering up Cowart

Hughes straight up for any of those guys is fine

Meh, I'm just on the side of recent precedent with this one. Plus, 5 starts isn't enough to exactly know definitively that Garza or Romero are doing well or badly.

Hughes for Clippard + Lombardozzi is fine.

So finally getting my Rays franchise going and I want to deal Price now rather then later. Narrowed it down to 3 deals, remember Price is under cost control for 3 years 2013-15. Price to St. Louis for Rosenthal, Wacha and Matt Adams (cards wont trade Wong who is who I want but so be it) to Pitt for Cole, Alen Hanson and Wyatt Mathisen or..or Cole to Texas to Profar straight up. what do you guys think all 3 fair ?

Pirates wouldn't give that much (it's fair but they have 0 reason to). I could see the Rangers offering Profar+ and the Cardinals one is definitely fair.

Hey, I am the brewers and I would like to trade for mike olt. I don't want yovani gallardo anymore, even though he is pitching good, so I would like to trade him for olt. Who else should I include with olt? I then would trade a-ram, who is also hitting good. But I don't know who would want him. Thanks.

Very true. But considering the contract situations, it's not horrible and you get a decent platoon player that you were in need of.

And yes.. if this happened in real life, Toronto fans would be celebrating haha.

Gallardo is two high B's and a low B. What about Gallardo for Olt and Grimm?

I really like this deal. Works out really well for both sides.

I don't think that you'd be able to get that much for those two players.

So I narrowed it now down to 2 deals. Price to Baltimore for Bundy, Schoop and Delmonico or Price, McGee and Colome to St Louis for Rosenthal, Wacha and finally Kolten Wong. I know trading within div but its a SP not a everyday player. Thoughts ?
