Pena was another guy I was going to suggest. Carter could also be a good pickup for you.Comment

I sorta like Soriano but I cant make a deal there unless they eat some salary haha. I also like Dunn on the Sox but again cant match much up. Angels I have no clue what to look atComment

I love the kid but he's just ****
For Lyles to be included you're looking at throwing in someone like Nolin, if I were you I'd do something like
DeShields/Lyles + Carter
FOR
Arencibia + Nolin
Deshields is a guy you should look at"Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Just to follow up on the stats of that trade:
Jordan Lyles - 7-3, 2.56 ERA, 1,18 WHIP, 87 K's with the MLB club
Chris Carter - .201, 12 HR, 44 RBI with MLB club
George Springer - .289, 12 HR, 36 RBI, 14 SB with MLB club
So by the looks of this, Springer is doing well in the MLB ...Pena is .224 with 17 HR and 45 RBI in AAA.
So since Lyles is doing good but Carter not so much and also Pena would JP for Lyles and Carter be fair? or would I have to take Pena there?
Deshields is .257 with 7 HR 35 RBI and 25 SB in AAA as well but I dont rly need MIFComment

Arencibia + whatever I suggested earlier
FOR
Carter + DeShields
Lyles is pitching too well. DeShields is an incredible asset and you'll like Carter."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I'm in May (Mariners franchise) and the Oakland A's have the worst record in baseball and are already 11 games out. Who are se guys they could trade? (Realistically)
John Jaso: .315/.384/.472 3HR, 15 RBI
Coco Crisp: .240 1 HR 1 SB
Brandon Moss: .222 avg, 1 HR
Those are three realistic trade targets as they all three have a guy their blocking from the ML level
Jaso: Derek Norris
Crisp: crowded OF in general)
Moss: OF/ Michael Choice
Contenders:
The whole AL East
Everyone in the AL central except MIN
Angels
Rangers
Marlins (WOW!)
Braves
Nationals
Pirates
Brewers
The whole AL WestLast edited by HadlerT; 06-11-2013, 10:43 PM.Seattle Mariners|Seattle Seahawks

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Couple of trade ideas for my Rockies franchise:
End of May, and I'm clinging to a 3.5 game lead over the Dodgers in the West.
The Braves are 10 games out in the Central. Their pitching has been abysmal, with the 2nd worst team ERA in baseball at an even 5.00.
Rosario has been great for me as my starting catcher, but he's been it. I love the idea of having a right/left combo of Rosario & McCann. Here's what I'm thinking...
Braves get: SP Eddie Butler (69/B), 2B Josh Rutledge (81/B)
Rockies get: C Brian McCann (88/B)
Butler (AA): 3-1, 1.30 ERA, 38 K, 7 BB, 0.84 WHIP
Rutledge (MLB): .265/.358/.386, 0 HR, 14 RBI, 6 SB
McCann (MLB): .293/.379/.517, 4 HR, 13 RBI
And, my other proposed deal is for a first baseman. Todd Helton and Jordan Pacheco have been massive disappointments so far. Obviously I'll keep Helton for the final year of his career, but I need to improve at the position. The Orioles are in last place in the East, also 10 games back.
Orioles get: 1B Jordan Pacheco (82/B), SP Joe Gardner (57/C), C Lars Davis (54/C)
Rockies get: 1B Chris Davis (83 B), RP Brian Matusz (70/B)
Pacheco (MLB): .235/.265/.306, 0 HR, 7 RBI
Gardner (AA): 2-0, 4.67 ERA, 20 K, 9 BB, 1.36 WHIP
L. Davis (AAA): .270/.319/.396, 3 HR, 12 RBI
C. Davis (MLB): .239/.265/.442, 9 HR, 26 RBI
B. Matusz (AAA): 2-2, 3.83 ERA, 46 K, 14 BB, 1.51 WHIP
Thanks in advance guys! And, sorry for the long post!MLB 13 The Show Dynasty -- Mile High Magic Returns: A Colorado Rockies Dynasty Is BornComment

Having a hard time imagining the Orioles trading away Davis who's thrived under Showalter. If you really want to make the deal, it'd have to be Pacheco along with Friedrich and Rutledge. Adding Rutledge here would ruin your McCann deal with the Braves thoughFormer modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.
