Lind for D.J. LaMahieu, if the Rox are in contention, and Bonifacio for jack squat sounds decent.

The cards are a contender, don't have much speed maybe they could use Bonifacio?

They have enough in the OF and at 2B.

As for lind, the pirates have a wild card spot now, their DH is Gaby Sanchez and 1st base is Garrett Jones

The NL doesn't use DHs, Lind isn't a fit

Only AL team that could use an upgrade at 1B/DH that I can think of is the A's. Doubtful they'd take on Lind and his contract but they've got plenty of 2B to go around if you ship him there. Thinking Grant Green/Jemile Weeks.

Could the Bucs use Bonifacio at SS?

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread

In the offseason of my MLB 12 the show chise as the Mets. I would like to trade Ryan Dempster 12-13 3.63ERA 211 SO DIPS: 2.807 K/9 8.508 36yr Last year of contract 6.5M

I wouldn't mind working out a trade with the Twins for Brain Dozier. They claimed Dempster off waivers. C ovr B Potential 27 years old never been in the big leagues. If Dempster's value is better then what Dozier is thats fine as well.

I also want to see if I can swing a blockbuster deal for Allen Craig. He's the best player on the Cardinals so I know it will take someone good to get him. I have Jorge Soler who was in free agency when I started the chise and Kaleb Cowart from a previous trade. So I was thinking:

                    Soler + Mejia + Cowhart+ 22yr Low A Outfielder

                    for

                    Craig

I also have Duda and Seth Smith both coming off of 20+ HR seasons. I know its not the most realistic thing but they have Taveras and are getting Soler so I think its putting them in a good direction for the future & I want to make an offseason splash like the Braves did with Upton.

                    EDIT: I made both trades.
                    Soler (Mid A) + Light (Low A 23yr outfielder) + Drury (Mid B 21yr old 3B)
                    for
                    Craig

                    Ruben Tejada (Low B) + Velazquez ( High C 21yr old catcher)
                    for
                    Dozier

                    Fair?

If I go by the spreadsheet, Trevor Plouffe is worth two High-C's.

So, if I were to send Ryan Wheeler (High-B) and Charlie Culberson (High-C) to Minnesota, could I get a decent bullpen arm to go along with Plouffe?

Maybe a slight overpay for Craig, but not too bad in general.

You're not going to find many 2nd or 3rd string SS's that can hit. Heck, most starting SS's can barely hit.

Some options: Pedro Florimon Jr. (Twins), Sean Rodriguez (Rays), Maicer Izturis (your team), Logan Forsythe (Padres), Ryan Jackson (Cardinals), Tyler Pastornicky (Braves)

I don't think Ryan Wheeler should be a high B by any stretch. I'd probably just do that one straight up. Take back a fringe pen arm at best (which basically describes every RP on the Twins except Burton, Duensing, Perkins, and Fien).

I am a big Johnny Herrera fan. He's a 2B on the Rockies but can play very solid D at both 2B and SS. He's also played 3rd a decent amount and LF for a few innings haha.

He's more of an NL type player. Great at bunting, moves runners over, works the count, ect. but if I could pick anyone to be a utility guy, it would be him. Small sample size this year but he's hitting .288 and a career .263 hitter..

Ok, that's enough of my man crush of Johnny..
