i dont think he'd be necessarily out of the picture.....i'd just be leery of his durability if its anything like it is IRL

Because Morales is a one trick pony, 1B/DH type player who doesn't really fit on an NL Club? Because Colorado has Helton still and really likes Fowler who is a very talented CF? There's a lot of reasons why its not fair but I think those two sum it up nicely.

Ok before you post wise *** comments why don't you go check Todd Helton's overall rating.

I asked a legitimate question and the elitist know-it-all's like yourself have to come in and act like the answer to the question is so obvious. Get real dude.

i think 35's point (which i agree with is) Morales is not strong defensively hence why he'd be more suited to play DH.....now where i would agree withh u is, Todd Helton is on his last legs and can be replaced....i just dont think Morales is that replacement

NFG I don't kno if you found your outfielder yet but what about Gerrardo Parra if the D Backs? He is available and can play all three outfield positions.

Thank you lol. My main thing is that Fowler is an excellent young player, Morales is an average power hitter who can't play defense...great fit for Seattle at DH, not so much for Colorado. Helton is there for this year, and Colorado probably wouldn't deal away Fowler and dismantle that great young OF they have just to add a 1B bat. There are a lot of relatively cheap, average power bats at 1B right now that a team could give up a lot less for and get similar results. Brandon Moss is one example

It's fairly obvious he'll be staying in STL for the time being

Scott, you could probably get Nimmo + Familia + Tapia if you'd want.

I thought his reasoning was sound. If I'm Colorado there's no way I'm giving up Fowler for Kendry. Kendry is 30 years old and can't play D. Also, the Mariners just brought on Kendry so why would they immediately ship him out?

Fowler is 3 years younger, can be an every day player, and is coming off his best season (.300 avg 13 HR)

Your question was legitimate and so was his answer. The answer is obvious unless you solely look at player ratings.

If you want to rip off the CPU go ahead.

yes...on paper Andrus>Henson...u can always move Henson to 2B and third of all, u never know how he'll pan out in The Show
