With Keppinger signed for 3 years at the Southside, I'd say Morel is expendable. DeJesus doesn't really carry any value so it'd have to be a straight swap without Marinez if you want a deal

Hey guys, I'm just starting up my franchise with the Arizona Diamondbacks, and want to trade for Stanton to acquire a big bat (and to make it more fun to play with the team). I saw the spreadsheet value for Stanton, and want to keep this semi-realistic. Any ideas on who I could/should give up for him?

Luckily the D'backs have some depth in their farm cuz you're gonna need it. An offer would have to start with Owings, Skaggs, Bradley and Parra. Maybe add Davidson to the mix as well

I was thinking of building something around Davidson/Bradley for sure. Giving up Skaggs and Bradley would definitely hurt.

Stanton is young and is one of the most powerful hitters in the game so you gotta pay the fish. I'd say two out of Skaggs, Corbin, Miley and Bradley needs to be included. Plus Chris Owings...and at least Davidson or Parra to round out the deal well.

In my first season of my A's franchise I have my eye on two players: Carlos Santana and Bud Norris. Only players I won't trade are Cespedes, Reddick, Anderson, Cook, Parker, Griffin, and Doolittle. Everyone else is available

Santana has signed an extension with the Indians so he's highly unlikely to be traded. You going for realism or just something that's fair?

Norris is definitely available and I'm sure you could find some pieces that'd fit right in with the Astros. NFG has enormous knowledge of both the A's and Astros organizations so I'm sure he could help you out better than me here...Off the top of my head I'm thinking Grant Green and a pretty good pitching prospect

Any suggestions of catchers I could acquire? I like some level of realism but it doesn't have to be 100% realistic. A Jaso/Norris platoon isn't terrible but I would like to acquire a full time catcher. Santana caught my eye because he's a switch hitter.

I'd also like to acquire a second baseman, but will likely sign Freddy Sanchez instead of making a trade if I decide to make a move there.

The positions I'd like to upgrade (in order) are catcher, 2nd base, 5th starter, and 1st base. Any suggestions on those would be much appreciated

J.P. Arencibia, Josh Thole for two. Maybe Devin Mesoraco or Ryan Hanigan. Nick Hundley is a really nice option.

Second baseman? Unless you feel like ponying up for Kinsler, I'd just sign Sanchez. I plan on signing Sanchez to platoon, he's a really nice player.

5th starter? Look on the Dodgers. A guy like Capuano or Harang or Lilly or Billingsley (damn Dodgers).

1st base? Juan Guzman? Justin Smoak? Mitch Moreland?

What about a Brandon Moss and Travis Blackley for Ryan Howard deal? Probably on the less realistic side but Moss is only 3 OVR points below Howard and 4 years younger

To acquire a 5th starter, there's four guys I like: Bud Norris, Michael Pineda, James McDonald, and Travis Wood. Dan Straily would be the main piece of the deal on my end

Skaggs, Bradley, Eaton, Davidson, Corbin, Owings. Two A's, Three B's, 1 C (Unless Owings is now a B?) If he is, take Corbin or Eaton out of the deal

Don't think the Phillies would give up Howard for that deal, although they'd move him to shed some salary.

You're definitely not getting Pineda if Dan Straily is your centerpiece of the deal. I'd shoot for Norris or Wood

I'm looking at acquiring the following player or players. Stanton, Hernandez, Sale (he's a question mark). I know the Mariners would never trade Hernandez in a million years but I like to pitch with him. What would it take o get him. I know Profar is the guy I will have to give up but I'm mainly looking at trading my minor league guys to get them. As you can see from my name I'm a huge Kinsler fan. I'm playing as the Royals and I'd like to trade for Giancarlo Stanton. I have to admit that I know very little about trades in the MLB but I'd really like to keep things realistic and only do things that could happen in real life. So do you think there is a way that the Marlins would trade him? The royals have 3 A rated prospects in their farm system. Who would I need to give up in order to keep it as realistic as possible?
