He'd have to be on the 40 man roster to be on the spreadsheet, and for him to be on the spreadsheet would be a stupid move by CIN."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Hey guys, currently just finished season 1 of my Jays franchise and going into playoffs. I started alot of my young guys last 4-5 games to see them and noticing that Sierra and Dominic Smith (my 1st pick this season) are great young players and will improve big time over the offseason.
I want to trade Lawrie (love in real life), cause i cant quite get use to his batting and stuff so I feel I want to move him to move Bautista to 3B and Sierra to RF. Now for Lawire I dont want older guys but young prospects (preferably guys who are actually playing with the big clubs atm in real life). I would like preferably a INF (2B, 3B, SS) + a OF.
This may be hard to find a MLB team with young players currently on their rosters in real life that match this criteria and are worth Lawrie but not looking for real as much I want a fair trade that they get a great young bat in Lawrie and I get some young not as good talent back.
I know you guys are up to the challenge so here we go...thanks to all in advance love this thread you guys are the best!Last edited by BlueJays09; 04-11-2013, 01:36 AM.Comment

Send him back to the D'backs for Chris Owings and Corbin/Skaggs?
Lawrie to Oakland for Reddick and Weeks?
To Cleveland for A-Cab?Last edited by Totte; 04-11-2013, 03:45 AM.Former modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Anthopoulos HAS, in fact, attempted to trade Lawrie. Once for Michael Pineda, and once he came up in talks for one of Gio/Latos.
Lawrie + Smoral for Cespedes + their new Japanese IF?
Lawrie for Bauer/Chisenhall/Cabrera to Cleveland would work, I think. You may have to add in a prospect.
If you're up for inter-division trading, Lawrie for Zobrist is fair.
Lawrie to Washington for Rendon + Goodwin + another piece also sounds fine.
For a 4 win 23 year old with ridiculous defense and amazing hitting skills who's a top 5 young player in the league lol, these sound pretty fair.
