But...I'm certainly no expert. So take my opinion with a grain (or entire shaker) of salt.
Totally agree that it's not a reach. The Bucs might not be the main suitor for him so to keep it as realistic as possible, you'd probably wanna wait until at least the second part of spring training and sign him then. Also makes it more realistic to low ball him at that point

In my Mariners 'chise, I just put Jesus Montero on the block as Zunino has been hitting quite well! I just got an offer from the Tigers a few days after:

      Tigers Get: Jesus Montero(A - 75 OVR)

      Mariners Get: Nick Castellanos(A - 69 OVR), Bruce Rondon(B - 71 OVR), Avisail Garcia(B - 66 OVR)

I'm looking for fair not necessarily realism! Isn't that a bit much for Montero?

Yes that's a huge overpay by the Tigers. You could look to make the same kind of prospect swap that the M's and Yankees did (Montero-Pineda). Castellanos is too much but either Rondon or Garcia plus a high C prospect would work

In my Astros Franchise I'm looking to get some pitching help. I want Matt Garza from the Cubs, but I don't want to give up Bud Norris in a deal. Any suggestions what could work?

              Brad Peacock and JD Martinez?

I'd part with Martinez. Not sure I want to give up Peacock he has been one of my better pitchers.

Swap Peacock for another arm in the same mold...Wojcheowski? Oberholtzer?

if Garza is healthy and pitching halfway decently, no way Obi or Woji+JD would be enough imo

The issue with doing a trade with KC in the position they're in, is they may be reluctant to part with pen arms if they are in the race. So, Herrera being demoted helps you. If you take another pen arm like Crow/Holland/Collins, you'd want to replace the pen arm with a guy like Belisle.

                      Fowler + Belisle + Chatwood for Crow + Herrera + high B prospect ?

That could be your future SU/Closer in Crow and Herrera. And you could look around and see which prospect you like best of theirs. Probably, anyone besides Zimmer and Starling are available. I might suggest looking into Yordano Ventura who could also be an electric pen arm.

The Mets probably have the bigger need for an OF, and you could get also young pen arms like Mejia, Familia, and Tapia in a deal based around Dexter Fowler. Tapia is the Mets poor man's version of Yordano Ventura. You might also look at Bobby Parnell, who's a but older, but still < 30.

Honestly, I could see Fowler being sent to either KC or the Mets if they're both in contention, I think it would come down to what you want most in return. You seem to like Herrera, so KC might be the way to go.
Thank you for the response. I don't know if this helps but Collins has an ERA in the high 6s and is there most used reliever. On top of this, there entire triple A bullpen has been dominant... I think I calculated there ERA around 2.5ish. I think they would be willing to part with two struggling for Fowler strait up but I like the idea of including one of my arms. Unfortunately none are doing particularly well except Betancourt, Which could work to my advantage since an effective closer would command a little more. So here's what I'm thinking:

Fowler (Think a little devalued because hes missed some time with injuries; healthy now)
Betancourt (ERA around 1 with like 15sv in 16 chances; could work either as a setup or closer depending how Holland is doing)

                      for

Herrera (remember highly devalued with demotion)
                      Collins (Also devalued with struggles)
                      Ventura

                      Thoughts? Feedback?

Note: Chatwood has been my most effective starter (LOL) and still has potential so I will keep him for now. Also the Mets have a lot of arms but none that are really to my liking.

With the emergence of John Buck this season for the Mets, the possibility of a big trade with Travis D Arnaud is becoming more of a possibility. Im looking for a trade that would include D Arnaud for either some outfield help or some starting pitching help since the Mets have an awful back half of the rotation besides Niese and Harvey. What would be a good trade do you think?

TDA to the Rays for Desmond Jennings, Josh Sale, and Chris Archer?

Maybe to the Rangers with Nimmo for Profar?

Do you guys see free agent reliever Brian Wilson as a reach for the Pirates? Coming off his second Tommy John surgery, he hasn't seen much activity in the free agent market.

The way Brandon Inge has performed for me thus far in my franchise, looking at current closer Jason Grilli who was basically down and out in Philly, I'd be willing to take a chance on him.

Obviously I'd try to sign him to a low contract, not sure if the computer would take it but definitely think he could help. I'd probably start him down in AA and see what he can do.
How long and what did you sign Wilson for? I tend to stay away from free agents who want several year contracts.

Haven't gotten to play yet today.... I'm hoping he's still there as I haven't checked the free agent list lately. I'll keep you posted on what deal I figure out and if he accepts.

Unfortunately, I don't think the computer will recognize his situation like in real life
