Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Because I'm a Rangers fan, I just had to start a Rangers franchise to play alongside my Rockies frachise. Pierzynski's regression has begun, and I'm considering unloading him. I'm looking to get a young outfielder or pitcher in return.
I was thinking maybe Pierzynski to the Mets for Den Dekker + Jacob Degrom?
What teams would take Pierzynski? Where would be a good spot for him?Mavericks
Cowboys
Rangers
Stars
FC Dallas
Texas LonghornsComment

Give him to the Blue Jays for Smoral or someone.
Or to the Angels for like Cron or something."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Thanks, any idea of what I could ask for in return from the A's for Rollins? He has a full ntc in real life but I'm sure he'd be amenable to a trade that would send him back to his home.
It hurts to break up this Phils team but with so many trades likely to occur, it will be fun rebuilding. I want to hold on to Utley, Howard (no choice), Hamels, Lee and resign Ruiz. Everyone else is up for grabs.Comment

Not that much. Probably a young pitcher like Anderson (injury issues brings down his value) and an infielder like Jemile WeeksThanks, any idea of what I could ask for in return from the A's for Rollins? Depending on how he's doing and that he's signed beyond this season, Garcia is a good start. I'd then add anything from a low to high C coming back your way as well depending on Papelbon's statsOkay. I'm playing 30 team with my Phillies. It's mid June and we're in third, 10 1/2 back. I want to unload Papelbon as he is a luxury that my middling team can no longer afford. I'm looking at dealing him to the tigers for prospects as we need to get younger. Also, Valverde has an era over 5 and they are in first, 4 games or so ahead of the sox. I'm looking at Avisail Garcia plus a piece or two. Fair? And who else could I get?Former modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.

Like AC said, no real fit for AJ in Queens with D'Arnaud coming up. I could see the Cubs, Angels, Twins (allow Mauer to DH) or Indians (allow Santana to DH), be interested. Twins and Indians are the most unlikely landing spots thoughBecause I'm a Rangers fan, I just had to start a Rangers franchise to play alongside my Rockies frachise. Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I posted this about a week back and never got a response.
Got offered a trade from the Brew crew that I wanted to run by you guys too.
Marlins give Steve Cishek CP (91 ovr. B pot. 26 yo.)
Brewers give SP Johnny Hellweg (76 ovr. B pot. 24 yo.), CF Victor Roache (64 ovr. B pot. 21 yo.) ,and 1B Hunter Morris (73 ovr. B pot. 24 yo.)
Seems like a good haul for Cishek, but I'm worried it might be a little too good. Cishek is having a decent year (0-1 1.73 ERA 14-16 in save opportunities) and the Ax-man has struggled just a bit (1-0 4.09 ERA 19-24 in save opportunities). But I don't want to rip them off.Comment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Hey Totte, I remember you from way back at EA/mvp mods. How have you been? I'd be really happy with that return on Rollins as Anderson would help with losing Halladay at the end of the season and the A's would have their SS until Russell is ready to take over.
I have one more.. with all of their CF depth would the cubs trade Brett Jackson?Comment

To deal Rollins to OAK, you'd have to take back salary, so Seth Smith would be involved. Thanks, any idea of what I could ask for in return from the A's for Rollins? He has a full ntc in real life but I'm sure he'd be amenable to a trade that would send him back to his home.

Strike the Cubs from that list. He and the Cubs have a history
Plus he's not their type right now. I also think the Rays are a sneaky option for A.J.
I agree it's too good. Too much for a reliever, honestly. As bad as they need a closer, this would decimate their already bad farm system. Drop off Hellweg or Morris and that would work.I posted this about a week back and never got a response.

They will eventually. His value will be shot by then though. Realistically, BJax is only in play if reeling in a big fish, not in a minor 1 for 1 deal.Hey Totte, I remember you from way back at EA/mvp mods. How have you been? Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
You still after Cishek? How about these...
Lucas Harrell for Cishek
J.D Martinez for Cishek + Coghlan/Ruggiano
Or you can just cobble any low B + high C you have together in prospects. I know from the OSFM thread, the Astros have tons of low B's. The Marlins can really use help at any position.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment
