Mid C if we're talking in general. If he's pitching really well you go up to a High C. Pitching poorly would be a low C

I would have to say the Twins get the slight edge in that trade mainly because Stanton has more value than just those two prospects alone (although I love both Buxton and Sano, Stanton is a once in a generation hitter)

Weiland + Cosart + Wallace for Friedrich, Colvin, LeMahieu

Personally I don't really see any point in this lol. The Rockies would probably rather play Colvin at 1B than Wallace. Friedrich has some promise if he is healthy, but as of now their rotation isn't too bad.

I think if you took Colvin and Wallace out of the deal, it would be fine. Wallace actually hurts the deal in my opinion.

I agree, but Buxton is just a stud. That walk off grand slam just solidified me. He's the one player I'd consider taking over Profar/Tavares. If I had to I'd give up Bautista for him lol.

Colvin has 0 value, LeMahieu doesn't have a ton of value, and I think you're overrating Friedrich... this would be a ridiculously great trade for Colorado, pretty unfair.

I think Bud Norris for Friedrich++ would be fine.

I like your referencing of negative value, but you severely, severely underestimate Cosart's value in this. He's far and away better than anyone in the deal.

It's not that I'm not high on Cosart, I am just severely low on Wallace haha. Heck, keep Colvin in it and just take Wallace out and move Pacheco to 1B.

No, you said that if you removed Wallace from the deal, it would be fine.

It wouldn't be. Cosart >>>>>>> everyone else in that deal.

Except here's the problem...if they wanted to play Colvin at first base, they would. IRL he's stashed away in AAA and has been passed over by the likes of Charlie Blackmon, LeMahieu, and Rob Scahill for promotions to the big leagues. For me, Wallace is strictly a throw-in. I can't hit worth a poop with him, and he at least offers some depth at a fairly weak position for Colorado.

I have no problem removing Wallace. But, I think the Rockies are very much getting the better end of this deal.

What if I went with Jordan Lyles + Kyle Weiland? I'd suggest Alex White, but I don't think Colorado would take him back after they just shipped him off!

Then just throwing back Berdard is fine.

Well the main reason for this is because Colvin struggled in spring training and then went on to struggle in AAA. LeMahieu, Blackmon, Wheeler, were all hitting .330+ when they got called up... so of course he is going to get passed on. I don't think that means they would give up on him.

But you can keep Colvin in the deal. I just think Wallace is pretty much complete garbage. Moving Pacheco to 1B would be better than getting Wallace. At least Pacheco can make contact.

I guess my point being, there are other options who are outperforming him at both levels. But, then you're getting into the question of how much real life performance plays into a video game trade. If I remember correctly, there was a whole big debate on that a few pages back. I really do appreciate the input, and it's nice to have a fellow Rockies fan on the boards!

LOL, Adam Wilk is actually in the Tigers org, but you must've seen him in my Astros 'chise (traded for him).

I'm high on Cosart but with a delivery and command more conducive to turning into a pen arm, I'm not so sure he has the level of value you're thinking he does.

I agree about Brett Wallace, especially after basically giving him a 5-month audition and seeing him hit .190 in my 'chise.

I'd say a bit less than Iwakuma. Iwakuma is mid B + high C. So either low B + high C or 2 high C's make sense for E-Ram. It also depends to some extent on how he's performing.
