No bad at all. But I like this one better:
5 doll hairs if you can guess who it is!
But really, totally unrelated, how much would it take to make picture #1 a virtual reality? If you can guess #2, I want that one waaaaaaaaaaay more.Red Sox: 2018 World Series Champions!!!

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I am nearing the end of June in my M's Franchise in 2014. The Indians are shocking the nation as they are leading the AL Central (37-27) with a 1 game lead over the Tigers.
The St Louis Cardinals are 5.5 games out of the NL Central but are leading the Wildcard.
F. Lindor is currently spending the season as the Indians DH similar to what Texas as doing with Profar. So far he is hitting .290 with 3 HR, 14 RBI and 3 SB's in 138 AB's.
A. Cabrera is currently hitting .326 with 7 HR and 31 RBI in 224 AB's, and hit .286 with 22 HR and 77 RBI last year.
However currently on the team in their OF. D. Stubbs is hitting .241 with 7 HR's.
My thoughts are Cabrera and ? to the Cards for John Jay and M. Carpenter.
Jay is batting .272 with 3 HR and 23 RBI, well the Cards have O. Taveras on the bench (.307 11 HR 32 RBI in 163 AB's). Carpenter is currently playing 2B and is hitting .264 with 8 HR and 31 RBI, but the Cards have Wong on the bench to be able to take his place, plus Mark Ellis was signed in the offseason as a backup. Their starting SS P. Kozma is hitting .296 with 1 HR and 22 RBI.
My thoughts are Jay would take over for Stubbs, allowing him to DH and hopefully get his swing back, Lindor would move to SS, and Carpenter would probably platoon with Chisnehall (.263 6 HR 23 RBI) at 3B.
For St Louis Taveras would take over CF, Wong at 2B and Cabrera at SS with Kozma moving to the UTL role.
Spread sheet says Cabrera is a Mid B Mid B Low B
well
Jay is a Low B, Low B and Carpenter is a High B, High C.
The only player on the current Indians spreadsheet that fits these rankings would be 19 yr old SS/3B Dorssys Paulino (currently in Double A hitting .282 with 12 HR, 52 RBI and 7 SB's) and I doubt the Indians really want to deal 2 SS in the same trade. But here are some other players who could maybe peak the Cards interest?
21 yr old 2B Jose Ramirez (73 B) hitting .323 9 HR 42 RBI 17 SB's in AA
28 yr old OF C. Coghlan (69 B) hitting .206 2 HR 10 RBI in 102 MLB AB's
22 yr old OF T. Naquin (62 B) hitting .302 8 HR 29 RBI in AAA
23 yr old 1B J. Aguilar (74 B) hitting .276 7 HR 34 RBI in AAA
M. Adams is currently on the Cards MLB roster but is batting just .164 with 0 HR and 7 RBI in 55 AB's, is why I threw Aguilar's name out there and the Indians have 2013 draft pick C. Moran (in my franchise) ready to take over 1B. (He is a 72 Overall with A pot, hitting .286 with 2 HR and 12 RBI in 55 AAA AB's)
What are your thoughts? Obviously I am not really going for realism, because I am just looking to make deals that would help both teams stay competitive and improve their lineups. Similar to what I did with the KC/Mets deals and Oakland/Colorado/Cincinnati deal I posted earlier in the week.Last edited by Deuce2223; 07-21-2013, 06:34 PM.Comment

Carpenter would play 3B, either taking over for Chisenhall or platooning with him. Allowing Wong to take over at 2B. OF and 3B are the Indians biggest needs, well SS is the Cards.Comment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
What do you guys think about this for Stanton. I thought about trading with Rangers but I feel that i won't be getting good pitching in return. I'm not trying to be realistic, just being fair. Lmk if I'm asking for too much and which trade you guys like best if any at all.
Cards
Taveras, Wacha, Wong, Rosenthal and Martinez. (If its too much then I can substitute Wong & Rosenthal for Martinez.)

Nope, already have him in my Dynasty! He was a free agent
Ya! Jason Bay pitching! Na, but there is a striking resemblance!
Yup! He's easily one of, if not, my favorite pitchers. Actually it goes: The King, Kersh, the Parker.

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Chisenhall's stats were in the post (.262 with 8 HR 26 RBI), Kipnis is hitting .247 with 7 HR and 39 RBI in 219 AB's.
Also should note Cleveland does have David Adams whom they picked up from the Yankees in the Rule 5, who is hitting .293 with 2 HR and 8 RBI in 75 AB's.
So I guess Carpenter doesn't need to be in the deal
So you could just look at a Cabrera for Jay and maybe a RP, like Boggs?Comment

Hey AC, I'm about to make some CPU trades in my franchise, do you think the Jays would trade for Garza? He's 7-7 with 105 K's in 128 IP, 3.52 ERA 1.22 WHIP.Comment
