Does anyone here have multiple franchises? If so, which team are you having the most fun with? I'm debating between ATL, Angels, Boston and Cardinals.

Where Can I find templates for the fancy box scores and stats? Also.... Royals, Started 3-0. Lost 4 in a row..

      For now, Note Worthy Stats

Alex Gordon hitting .333 with 1 hr
      Alcides Escober hitting .381
      Jeff Francouer hitting .346
George Kottaras is hitting .308 with 1 hr
      Chris Getz hitting .300
      Lorenzo Cain hitting .261
Billy Butler hitting .256 1 hr
Mike Moustakas hitting .214 1 hr
      Eric Hosmer hitting .167

      Greg Holland - 3 saves 5k 0.00
      Luke Hochevar(RP) 2 app 3.1IP, 0.00 ERA 3K
      Felipe Paulino(started as a LRP) - 1-0 1.42 0bb 6k in 6.1
      Ervin Santana 11 2.57 1BB 6k 14ip
      Aaron Crow 5.40 ERA 1K 3.1ip
      James Shields 0-1 5.40 1bb 8k 12.1 IP
      Jeremy Guthrie 0-0 6.35 0bb 2k 5.2 IP
      Tim Collins 1-0 8.10 1bb 4k 3.1Ip
Bruce Chen(Started in 5 man rotation, 5th starter. Earned it in spring)
      0-1 18.00 0bb 2k
      Wade Davis 0-1 20.25 0bb 1k

Hoping Shields catches fire soon. Hoping Wade Davis can pick it up. Moving Paulino to a starter already. Play well with him.

Salvador Perez out with MCL strain. Kottaras doing great in back up role. Need to get Hosmer, Butler, and Moustakas going.

I play on allstar and swing at pitches like a panzy....But I am content with the start. Need to improve. Going to give some young guns some relief work when I call them up

Dwyer, Zimmer will move up to 2A or 3A. Lamb, Etc.

          Re: 2013 Franchise/Season Progress Thread

So just getting ready to start my franchise after getting a bit of a late start. I'm not sure where to ask this so I'm just going to post it here. Is there a problem with ending/not ending spring training in terms of progression/regression. I would prefer to sim one game at a time but if this is a problem with ratings, then I won't.

Another thing regarding ST, I don't want to play any of the games but I'd like for lineups, pitchers to be realistically set up. For example, I want more of my younger guys to get starts and for starters to only pitch a few innings like they normally would in real life. Can I expect this to play out or if not is there any way to set it up so that it will?

          Thanks in advance!

If you sim spring training. Then player like Jeter will take a pretty big drops in ratings. Then will do the same during the season. I believe most of us have ended spring training for the first season. Then done what we normally do every year after.

Ok. I was hoping to avoid that but I would rather the ratings not get all screwed up. Thanks!

Robinson Cano goes yard 3 times in series finale vs The Diamondbacks.

Robinson Cano hit HR's 7,8, and 9 in a rousing finale vs Arizona at Yankee Stadium.

C.C Sabathia notched his 3rd win of the year to go to a 3-1 record throwing 138 pitches through 8.1 innings. He allowed only 5 hits, 2 runs, walked 2 and struck out 5. Edwardo Nunez continues his early season power surge cranking out his 3rd HR of the season a solo shot in the 3rd.

Cano is trying to keep pace with Miguel Cabrera who already had 10 HR's.

The Yankees now head north of the border for a 3 game set vs The struggling Blue Jays.

New York sits 1.5 games tied with Baltimore, behind division leader Boston.

Just started a franchise with the Mets last night. Wanted to find a team I could surprise with and like their pitching and prospects. Only one game in so far, but it was a good one. Edinson Volquez shut me down through four, allowing one hit and striking out 6, so things started out looking bad. I was finally able to get to him in the fifth, loading the bases with three singles. My pitcher Niese came to the plate and I took every pitch until I had to swing, resulting in a strikeout. Then, Jordany Valdespin launched a two-out grand slam to take the lead. This would be all I needed, as Niese went 7 IP with 1 ER 1 BB and 4 K to get the win. I added an RBI double by Byrd and back-to-back solo jacks in the 8th by Wright and Davis to pad the lead. I'm excited to pitch with Matt Harvey tonight...

                    Re: 2013 Franchise/Season Progress Thread

Started a Yankee franchise a while back and I've been consistently played one game per series and I am currently sitting at 3rd place in mid June, hovering around .500. What I'm not sure about is whether or not I should rebuild now. I think now would be a good time, due to all of my expiring contracts. I already traded ARod and Granderson and I could shed even more payroll in free agency, especially if I cashed in Cano for young guns. Thoughts? Also I want to keep it realistic, keep that in mind when providing feedback.
                    Thx

Harvey is filthy in this game. Even without the ratings bump he'll most likely get in the next update, his fastball is nasty. Its so much fun to pitch with him.

Nice. Yeah, being a Mariners fan I've gotten to pitch with King Felix for years and he's nasty as well. Problem is I seem to get lit up whenever I pitch with him now, and overall seem to suck playing with my team so I decided to try something else.

I recently started a franchise with the Twins. A month the bats are looking good, but holy crap is the pitching awful. Pretty much dead last in every pitching category. I've never experienced such ineptitude in my rotation and pen. Scott Diamond has literally been my only good pitcher. I've played plenty of franchises and have never experienced this. I'm reaching here, but does anyone have any tips on how to stabilize such a disaster?

One very strange thing: contrary to real life, Aaron Hicks is second in the league in HR's after one month and leading the league in RBI's, and he's hit leadoff for me the whole time. How is that even possible with the guys I have batting 6-9? Dozier and Florimon are hitting under .210.

All-Star with my own adjustments to PsychoBulk's Perfect Sliders. Not at home, so not sure on the specific tweaks, but all hitting and pitching sliders I have set at 4 with the exception of Timing and Foul Frequency at 6. Pitch Speed also at 6. Classic Pitching, Timing Hitting.

Into my second year of The Show, I haven't had results like this before. In my slider testing season I certainly didn't have such success. I'm sure a 10-game skid is just around the corner.

                                June 1st Update

May was a weird month for me. We started out alright, however we took a dive in the middle of the month and lost six games in a row at one point. Luckily we were able to turn things around the last half of the month and regained the lead in the AL East. After beating NY on the last day of the month we know have a 2 game lead.

                                AL East Standings

                                Red Sox - 32-25
                                Yankees - 29-26 2 GB
                                Blue Jays - 29-27 2.5 GB
                                Rays - 27-29 4.5 GB
                                Orioles - 26-29 5 GB

                                Roster Notes

Ciriaco was injured in mid May. Rather than calling up a prospect, I decided to sign Ryan Theriot. He has played well for us. Now that Ciriaco has healed we made the tough decision to send him down to AAA and let him work on his game a bit.

Carp was sent down to AAA in favor of Nava.

David Ross has been on a tear lately and has overtook Salty as the starting Catcher. I still love Salty, especially because I've been a fan of switch hitting catchers since Variteck, but we just can't let David's hot bat sit on the bench.

Ownership lost all Faith in John Lackey. He had a record of 2-5 with an ERA floating around 6 through 11 games and we just couldn't take it anymore. He was out of options so we put him on waivers hoping to send him to AAA, but the Pirates claimed him. In a moment of frustration (which I now sort of regret) I let him walk. I should have tried to trade him first, but I was ready for the Rubby De La Rose Era to start in Boston, so I let my impatience and frustration get the best of me.

Speaking of Rubby. He's now our 5th starter and has one unimpressive start under his belt. He started against the Phillies and pitched 5 innings, giving up 5 hits, 4 runs, walked 2 and stuck out 5..... but thanks to some nice run support he got the W. I'm hoping that he improves, but we haven't signed anyone to fill Lackey spot. Therefore, if Rubby doesn't work out this season, then we could possibly sign Oswalt or Pavano to a one year deal. Looking for trades is an option as well, although I want to see what Rubby has first.

Going into June are three big questions are:

                                1. Will Lester continue to be Dr Jeckel and Mr Hyde?
                                2. Will Rubby succeed in the majors?
                                3. What to do with Victorino? Leave him as is and hope he works his way out of the slump? Bump him down in the order (but who would I move to the 2nd spot in the lineup? Pedroia, Drew/Theriot?)? Look for a replacement via trade?

                                Any suggestions are welcomed.
