Re: strikeout totals way too low is franchise
I saw this at CD and could have sworn they adjusted this before we left.
I'm assuming if it can be fixed, it will. The team there is very driven to providing us all the perfect product. Thanks for the up-vote.Comment

Re: strikeout totals way too low is franchise
Agree with you guys about the sim stats for Ks...it's fine watching cpu v cpu with default sliders, numbers stack up but they are too low with the stats generated by the sim engine.
I've upped the vote on the bug forum as well.Dedicated member of the CPU v CPU worldwide brethren.Comment

Re: strikeout totals way too low is franchise
They will have to do a massive general edit of all hitters plate vision (pv) by reducing each hitter's pv rating 7-10 points.
And each pitchers K/9 has to be globally edited by raising each pitchers K/9 rating 5-10 points.Comment

Re: strikeout totals way too low is franchise
If you do roster edits to solve the problem then won't future seasons where rookies are randomly created be messed up? It would be better to fix the sim engine itselfComment

Re: strikeout totals way too low is franchise
Just a quick one: are the strikeout totals the same on franchise and on season mode?Comment

Re: strikeout totals way too low is franchise
I'm confused. I thought most people (and I could be wrong) were having good results when playing or watching the CPU. If so, wouldn't it cause a different problem to make widespread attribute edits? If it's strictly a sim problem, wouldn't we want to stay away from those kinds of changes?Comment

Re: strikeout totals way too low is franchise
I just drafted a team and planned on playing the spring training to get used to the game and tweak my sliders.
If this is fixed in a patch in the next month, will it help my already started franchise?Comment

Re: strikeout totals way too low is franchise
Does anyone think the K/9 numbers are a little low for Pitchers?
For example... Justin Verlander, Felix Hernandez, Max Scherzer (and I'm sure there's more) are 200 K's Pitchers but there K/9's are in the 70s?Milwaukee Brewers | Green Bay Packers | North Carolina Tar Heels | Wisconsin BadgersComment

Re: strikeout totals way too low is franchise
The ratings have been recalibrated, for strikeouts it seems like its approximately K/9 - 10...Bakin' soda, I got bakin' sodaComment

Yes, we definitely want to stay away from changing ratings to fix sim stats. The sim engine can be tweaked without messing with player ratings.I'm confused. VCU9 apparently doesn't agree with that, as he has stated multiple times in this thread his solution would be to do roster edits.Comment
