Re: MLB 14 The Show Wishlist

Love the show, but some aspects really need reworking now. RTTS needs to be designed from scratch, just feels so disconnected from the league, and the goals logic is broken at times.

Lets home they fix the AI pitchers being too accurate, and every batter having barry bonds discipline.

    Relocation, create a stadium.

Needs totally new presentation. It's stale now.

Improved defense, weakest part of the show IMO.

More immersion into the season. At times it feels like your in a bubble, like your not a part of a MLB league. Maybe more news articles, maybe locker room issues, etc...

Carry over your RTTS career from year to year.

If you're looking for what amounts to fully manual defensive play I don't think we'll ever see it in The Show. I don't think it's bad at all really. Maybe more urgency in some of the throws could be worked into the game.

I hope to see less of the ball hitting the pitcher (CPU) and my guy being thrown out at first. Sometimes I get the impression CPU pitcher is a converted Goalie.

I would love to see real pitching grips. PYS got this feature in 2013 for the first time. I'm pretty sure there is a video about it but can't find it right now. One of the little things I don't wanna miss anymore^^

That does look kinda neat but without an option for a solid timing hitting mechanic I can't play that game anymore.

Pretty sure they've had proper pitch grips in the Show for the last couple of years, I think last year was the first time they've had proper rotation though.

The Show does indeed have both.

Balls down the line being singles and the pitcher being in a pinball machine needs to be fixed lol. Annoying when you smash a hit but get out from the pinball pitcher.

Any chance to get create a stadium or relocation? Love using the jays, hate their stadium lol.

I'd like to be able to edit potential, resign players during the season, and fire managers during the season.

More edit player options. Ability to choose if they were drafted or an international signing. Age of signing. Years in the minor league system. Ability to customize contract and length. Ability to extend players at times other than the offseason. And for the love of God, include the throwback jerseys the Braves actually wear! They're sweet. And it breaks my heart that I can't have the Braves wear them. It really does. And I want the Show 14 to give me a life. (But I'm dead serious about the Brave jerseys. If 2K was an option, and it had them, I'd buy it for the PS.) ... maybe I wouldn't. Oh hell no.

Re: MLB 14 The Show Wishlist

I agree with some of them here especially the MLB 14 the Show app because we could take everything to do.

Some things in the postseason mode which I do play and some things needs to change.

Adjust the playoff schedule (play some games during the day, instead of all night games)

Wild card round make it single game or best of three (in light what happened to the Braves in 2012)

Proper Seedings for the playoff, if you have the best record you are entitled to home field and wild card teams CANNOT start the ALCS or NLCS highest seed gets that I see that in the postseason mode and its not fair for the team with the best record

For the best of five series make it a 2-3 format or 2-2-1 format as a option (NBA 2k in some form does that)

Format the postseason tourney from 4-16 teams (4,6,8,10,12,14,16 teams), realistically (4-10 teams in postseason is doable)

Retractable Stadium option to play open or closed. Yes, this is a big deal because they play in different ways and it carries differently, need to be a option. Retractable roof teams are (Arizona,Milwaukee,Miami,Houston,Toronto,Seattle). During the season it could be random.

                          Single A Roster, if possible

                          Local Announcers if possible

More classic ballparks like Tiger Stadium, Classic Yankee Stadium (1923-73), Olympic Stadium, etc...

Montreal Expos throwbacks for the Nationals, Browns throwbacks for the Orioles, etc...

Negro League Uniforms for certain teams like the KC monarchs for the Royals, etc.

Play Franchise, season,etc... on PS3, PS4, Vita (via cloud storage so you could play on the go)

Certain Patches that could downloaded via PSN store or update like the Boston Strong patch, Arizona firefighters,etc...similar to what the NBA 2k series does. Also, postseason patches for teams making the playoffs on the hats and jerseys and the same with the World Series with their patches as well.

Real MLB All-Star Jerseys via PSN

Red Jerseys for Canada Day for the Blue Jays

Custom Stadium (similar to NCAA Baseball 06, or MVP 05, but way deeper)

Relocation if you are doing franchise

Sydney Cricket Grounds Stadium for the Season Opener in Australia

In the MLB All-Star Game play to their team jerseys not the All-Star Jerseys (make it an option)

In Postseason mode make it an option to choose homefield the AL or NL.

I mainly play RTTS so most of my suggestions are for RTTS

-In RTTS I would like the ability to retire and become a manager or coach( 3rd base coach, bench coach, hitting coach etc) in the minors or in the big leagues.( Kinda like this new wave of former players becoming managers like Matt Williams and Brad Ausmus)

                            - Single A and lower minor leagues if its possible

-If we are a closer or relief pitcher let us warm up in the bullpen

-If we are a starter and it isnt going well for us allow us to switch our position to a relief pitcher or closer.( Like Mariano Rivera)

-Let me hire an agent to handle my contracts and endorsements ( if possible). With contracts allow us to earn performance bonuses like for every 5 home runs you hit you earn 500k.

-Make every team different if I choose to play in a bigger market like New York I will have higher expectations and more pressure to help the team make the playoffs every year. If I choose to play in Tampa I will have less pressure on me. Also I might become popular and well known If I play on a bigger market than a smaller one.

-Something to spend money on like maybe a training program or specialist coach that will help me improve my game.

-Make it easier to get traded but keep it realistic if Im the top prospect on the team the other team might have to give up a lot to land me.

I would like to see hot and cold zones more accurately depicted. Playing against the Brewers, I noticed Aramis Ramirez having hot zones all over the place versus righties! He has been better against lefties at least 2 years running now. I looked at his H & C zones at ESPN and sure enough, he doesn't have anything like what they give him in this game, just one example.

In my opinion, all players should be re-evaluated per H & C zones at ESPN for 2013 and put in for 2014.

I realize H & C zones for players may change, but at least getting it right for 2014 would, in my opinion, make this a more accurate game, truer to players ability.

Separate sliders for infielders and outfielders.
