When in the stretch do pitchers now look over at the base runners sometimes before throwing the pitch? It's a small thing but would add to the realism of the game

If the uniforms are different then with some luck it also may mean the numbers on the back of the Yankees uniforms will be in the normal place higher up on the back

I'm hoping this is fixed too. I noticed they were still the same on the ps3 trailor but I'm really hoping they get it fixed on the ps4. For anyone who plays with a team with no names on the back of the jersey I'm sure this is a big deal. It just doesn't look right where the numbers are.

Hopefully a dev, maybe Mr. Russell can give us a hint to what we can expect this year.

Yes, and it is user controlled too. The most awesome thing is that your pitcher actually turns his head towards the baserunner(s)! The mechanic for this is very well done.

In that case I wonder if pitcher timing has any effect on baserunning? Meaning, is it important to change up the timing between sets and deliveries?

I love hearing that the crowd audio is getting a major upgrade on the PS4. Does this also mean that we will now hear for example food vendors yelling things like " Get your Hot Dogs" " Ice Cold Beer" "Soda" "Ice Cream" and so on? Also I like hearing that a lot more organ music and sounds have been added. There will be stadium specific organ sounds correct? And hopefully they will also play more often during key situations? Like for example when the home team batter is up you should here a "Charge" organ tune more often in these types of situations. I know as far as stadium specific organ sounds go I know for example PNC Park and Wrigley Field have very unique organ sounds that you never hear like that in other stadiums from what I have heard when watching on TV. I also hope that the crowd AI for different game situations will be greatly improved over the PS3 versions.


I always found the atmosphere in MLB The Show to be lacking with too much dead Silences so it is welcome news hearing about the audio upgrades for the PS4

Does anybody know if the speaker on the PS4 controller will be utilized? Of the games I own none of them use the speaker yet. I tried a preview of it a couple months ago and it sounds incredible. It would also be kind of cool to plug headphones into the controller while playing The Show.

If they do I can see them using the speaker in Rtts by having your coaches tell you what to do as far as like stealing or to round bases etc. etc.

I sure would hope so
