Yea in all honesty I do not think its really fear to compare MLB The Show to any other games. All games are programmed differently and besides I am sure if Sony could make the player models look better they would.

I was actually just about to say that FIFA is based on the Ignite Engine which allows for the way the cloth works. So SCEA couldn't just replicate the way that happens, without copying some of the source code from the Ignite Engine, which is illegal. BUT, I'm sure by MLB 15, they'll figure out how to pull off what FIFA is able to do in their own way.

Here's another example, this time in gif form:

This is next gen graphics to me, and the way jerseys should move.
        NFL : Atlanta Falcons
        MLB : Toronto Blue Jays

          Sure does look good!

Maybe in a few years we will have this type of thing in MLB The Show

Can't wait to see the first real videos of MLB 14 The Show running on PS4

How about we wait and see how the ps4 version animates before asking for other stuff. We really know nothing about it.

That does look good! Only a little interpenetration with the chest. I wonder what the frame rate is when that's being processed for 50+ instances?

                Fair enough!
I was just wondering if this could be possible considering the strides nba2k and fifa made in that department. I know you can't compare one to another, basketball has smaller crowds to render probably and I believe Fifa isn't even close to an effort compared to the show's crowd.

Thanks for popping in now and then Wood, really appreciate it!
You know I would love a real nerdy inside documentary at SCEA with an approach where the devs try to please all the fans and how that's just never possible.

Haha keep up the great work guys, love this game!

                  This is phenomenal.

But I have to wonder why in my 100 games with 2K14 I've never noticed this? Is it the slow-mo? Or the cinematic up-close non-game view shot?

Game 2 against the Nuggets in the first round of the Playoffs tonight! Guess what I'll be looking for!

                  Thanks for the gif!

I have heard that yes some do spend the night during crunch time...they are dedicated and are working much longer hours than your typical 9-5 job.

I imagine right now, most of you guys are. Working to the point where your too tired that you may make mistakes, then waking early for a good start, and going until your too tired again. LOL. Just think.. almost over.... almost over... almost over. haha. I imagine MASS amounts of coffee are being consumed every day at the studio. lol.

Yeah depending on the player (personality badges) after they score or a teammate scores, they'll celebrate like this going back up the court.

I'm curious factzzz in that GIF are you saying that is like a cut scene after you score and not actual game play, if it is a cut scene I'm sure they could do more on the cloth physics than what could on gameplay, I've only seen brief videos of nba 2k14 so not enough to justify how well the clothes look, while I take back what I said about that nobody has done that yet, I almost forgot that 2k tried cloth physic before in one of their Mlb titles but it was horribly done and made everyone look like they were playing under a 100 mph wind conditions. However even some of the screenshots of Nba 2k14 the clothes don't look like they act properly either and that's a bad thing about screenshots, they just don't represent the game well as a video would.
