Yeah, the embargo doesn't apply if you're on the "outside", so to speak. If you haven't signed an NDA it's perfectly fine to post stuff about the game. Just make sure you clear it with a mod here by posting/PM'ing a pic of the game in it's case (to prove you actually have it, we typically get fakes around this time every year).

Edit: Well....as far as Youtube goes maybe they do have the same kind of rule Twitch does about pre-release video footage. I don't know as I don't have a public Youtube channel, but Twitch does close down channels for streaming games before they're actually released (although it depends on the game and the company making it).

Personally, I don't even want it early. I took next Tuesday off and plan to get up early in the morning, go pick it up from Wal Mart, and play all day long.

My boss had to make a change in the schedule for next week, he said would you mind if I gave you off Tuesday, Wed, and Thursday instead of the weekend. My eyes lit up, because that is when the game comes out. I was beyond excited. Three whole days lol

I am just getting the PS4 version but would love to know if the Ball Physics have once again been improved over last year? Also on those hits down the lines and into the corners are the batters getting more doubles and even triples instead of being thrown out at second and third base even for above average speed guys?

I am assuming the Ball Physics will be the same on both PS3 and PS4 this year anyway.

Did anybody get their hands on an early copy of mlb 14? Mine should be here today or tomorrow at the latest gotta love EBAY!!!! Soon as i get it ill do a impressions video on my youtube channel and here w/o gameplay due to not being able to actually post it for another week or so.

I know of a place that MIGHT have the game, so anyone in Toronto, pm me or something and I'll tell you the place. I got it last year and I told another person from OS about it and they got it too(they actually got it earlier than I did,which somewhat sucks cause I never realized I could've gotten it friday and instead I just got it on Monday)

I'm not getting MLB14(unless some huge thing happens like for some reason,someones selling it for $20 by May) so I won't mind telling people where to get it cause this time, I don't care if it gets sold out before I get to it.

And if someone contacts me, you must at least be an active member of this site. I don't want someone just signing up to find out where to get it early and that's it. Person I gave location to last year hasn't been seen/heard from since last year, so I want to help out the active members here.

Nice. Was hoping an OSer was one of the lucky ones to be able to win that auction. Looking forward to your impressions.

Although the moderator who did it seems to have left this forum, people have been banned in the past for posting impressions of the game prior to release. Just to be safe I'd check with the moderator before posting anything prior to release.

Ya, that's all I had to do last year when I got it early too. I never posted any gameplay videos, but I posted abunch of screenshots and answered questions many people had about it, but I couldn't really do so until I provided proof to a mod that I had the game.

Does this only happen with Mom & Pop shops? I need to make friends with a guy at gamestop or something so I can get the PS4 version as soon as they get it in lol. Not sure if there are any video game "mom & pop shops" in Boise

Seems like those are most common,because those stores can just keep the tag and scan it on release day or something compared to places like Best Buy or something where they have to scan it right away(which they aren't allowed to,especially since they don't own the place)
